Privacy Policy for Loan Planner

Loan Planner (package name: com.loan.cash.calculator) is an offline-first loan calculation and planning application provided by  ALLYZA BUELA TORRES ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Loan Planner.

1. Summary

•Loan Planner does not require an account or sign-in.

•Loan Planner does not request Internet access or sensitive Android permissions in the current version.

•We do not operate servers that receive your loan information.

•We do not use advertising, analytics, tracking, or behavioral profiling SDKs.

•Loan calculations, saved calculation records, and application preferences are processed and stored locally on your device.

•Information leaves the application only when you deliberately export, save, or share a PDF report using Android system features.

2. Information Processed on Your Device

To provide its calculation features, Loan Planner processes information that you enter or select, including:

•loan type;

•currency (PHP or USD);

•loan amount;

•annual interest rate;

•loan term;

•first payment month;

•repayment method;

•comparison scenarios; and

•calculation results, repayment schedules, and saved history.

The application also stores local preferences such as currency, decimal places, default repayment method, language, and dark mode settings.

This information is used only to perform calculations, display results, compare loans, save calculation history, and generate reports on your device. It is not transmitted to us.

3. Local Storage

Saved calculations and repayment schedules are stored in a local Room database. Application preferences are stored using Android DataStore. These files are protected by the Android application sandbox, but the application does not add separate database-level encryption.

You can delete individual saved calculations from the application. You can remove all locally stored application data by using Android's Clear storage/Clear data option or by uninstalling Loan Planner.

4. Backup and Device Transfer

Loan Planner excludes its database and preferences from Android cloud backup. The current application configuration permits Android's device-to-device transfer feature to copy the database and preferences when you migrate to another device.

This transfer is performed by the Android operating system and is not received or controlled by us. You can manage backup and device-transfer settings through your device or Google account settings.

5. PDF Reports, Saving, and Sharing

When you generate a report, Loan Planner creates a PDF in the application's private cache. The cached file is not uploaded by the application. It may remain in the cache until Android or you clear the application's cache or data.

If you choose to save a report, Android asks you to select a destination. If you choose to share a report, Android asks you to select a receiving application or service and grants that recipient temporary access to the selected PDF.

After a report is saved or shared, the copy stored outside Loan Planner is controlled by the selected destination, application, or service and is subject to that third party's privacy practices. You are responsible for deleting exported copies from those destinations when they are no longer needed.

6. Information We Do Not Collect

In the current version, we do not collect or receive:

•names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses;

•account credentials;

•contacts, photos, precise location, microphone, camera, or SMS data;

•device advertising identifiers;

•payment card or bank account credentials;

•loan application data submitted to a lender;

•usage analytics, crash analytics, or advertising data; or

•loan calculation information entered in the application.

Loan Planner is a calculation tool. It does not provide loans, submit loan applications, connect to bank accounts, or perform credit checks.

7. Third-Party Software

Loan Planner uses standard Android and open-source libraries, including AndroidX, Material Components, Room, and DataStore. The application does not currently include advertising or analytics SDKs. These libraries are used locally to provide the user interface, storage, and application functionality.

If a future version introduces a service that transmits data, we will update this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosure before or when that feature is released.

8. Data Retention

•Saved calculations remain on your device until you delete them, clear application data, or uninstall the application. They may also be copied through Android device-to-device transfer.

•Preferences remain until application data is cleared or the application is uninstalled, subject to device transfer.

•Generated PDF files may remain in the application cache until the cache is cleared by Android or by you.

•Exported or shared reports remain in the selected external destination until you delete them there.

Because we do not receive this information, we cannot remotely view, retrieve, correct, or delete it for you.

9. Security

We limit privacy risk by processing data locally and not operating a data-collection backend for the application. Local information is protected by Android's application sandbox and your device's security controls. However, no device or storage method is completely secure. You should protect access to your device and carefully choose where reports are saved or shared.

10. Children's Privacy

Loan Planner is a general financial planning utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

11. Your Choices

You control the information stored by Loan Planner. You may:

•avoid saving a calculation;

•delete saved calculations within the application;

•clear the application cache or storage through Android settings;

•uninstall the application; and

•choose whether and where to save or share a PDF report.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the application's features or legal requirements change. The revised policy will display a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the application listing, the application, or another appropriate channel where required.
