PlanMate (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the App.

1. Data Collection

• We do not collect, store, or share any personal data on our servers.

• All your data (tasks, expenses, trackers, and other records) is stored locally on your device only using secure storage (AsyncStorage / SQLite).

• 2. Transaction Tracking

• The App allows users to manually enter and manage transaction records.
  Any financial data entered manually by the user is stored locally on the device.

• The App also provides an optional Auto Mode feature that can detect bank transaction alerts from SMS messages. This feature is activated only if the user chooses to enable Auto Mode.

• If Auto Mode is not enabled, the App does not access, read, or process SMS messages.

• All transaction data is processed and stored locally on the user’s device

3. Trackers (Gold, Silver, Oil, Forex, etc.)

• The App may fetch global price data from trusted third-party APIs.

• We display the source and timestamp for transparency.

• This data is for informational purposes only; actual local prices may vary.
  
  

4. Market Insights (Location & Regional Features)

• The App may request location permission to provide region-specific market insights (for example, Indian market prices for users located in India).

Location information:

• Is used only temporarily to determine your region

• Is processed only on your device

• Is not stored, not shared, and not transmitted to any server

If location permission is denied, the App will continue to function, but only global market data will be shown.

5. Advertising

• The App uses Google AdMob to display ads.

• These third-party services may collect anonymous usage data (such as device type, interactions, and ad identifiers).

6. Security

• Since your personal data never leaves your device, you remain in full control.

• PlanMate is not directed at children under 13.

• Users can enable or disable optional features at any time.
