Privacy Policy for Planaway: PLANNER & ORGANIZER

Planaway respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Planaway application for iPhone and iPad.

1. Information We Collect

Planaway does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or address.

The developer of Planaway does not operate servers that collect or store the content you create in the app.

Information you enter into Planaway, such as lists, tasks, events, habits, grocery items, wishlist items, watchlists, books, preferences, and other planner content, is stored locally on your device and may be synchronized through Apple's iCloud services when iCloud functionality is available and enabled.

2. Local Data Storage

Planaway uses Apple's Core Data framework to store planner information locally on your device.

This may include:

- Lists and list items

- Tasks and completion history

- Events and related information

- Habits and habit progress

- Grocery and wishlist items

- Watchlist information

- Books and reading information

- Themes, icons, appearance choices, and other app preferences

This information is used only to provide the app's functionality.

The developer does not receive or have direct access to this locally stored content.

3. iCloud

Planaway uses Apple iCloud to support backup and synchronization of app data across your Apple devices.

When iCloud synchronization is used, your Planaway data may be transmitted to and stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's services.

The developer of Planaway does not operate the iCloud service and does not directly receive or access the contents of your iCloud account through Planaway.

Your use of iCloud is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies.

4. In-App Purchases

Planaway offers a one-time in-app purchase called Unlock All, which provides access to premium functionality.

Purchases and purchase restoration are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit services.

Planaway does not directly collect or process your payment card details or other payment information. Payment processing is handled by Apple.

The app may receive information from StoreKit necessary to determine whether Unlock All has been purchased and to provide or restore access to the purchased features.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Planaway does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

Planaway does not use third-party analytics services.

Planaway does not track users across apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Planaway does not sell personal information or app data to third parties.

6. Third-Party Services

Planaway relies on Apple services necessary to provide certain functionality, including:

- Apple iCloud — for data backup and synchronization across the user's Apple devices.

- Apple StoreKit and the App Store — for processing the Unlock All in-app purchase and restoring purchases.

- Apple Core Data — for local storage of app data on the user's device.

Information handled directly by Apple is subject to Apple's own privacy practices and policies.

Planaway does not share the content of your lists or planner data with third-party advertising, analytics, or marketing services.

7. Notifications

If Planaway offers reminders or notifications, the app may request permission to send notifications.

Notification permission is controlled by iOS or iPadOS and can be changed at any time through the device's Settings app.

Information required to schedule local notifications is used for providing the requested reminder functionality.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally by Planaway remains on your device until you delete the relevant content or remove the app, subject to device backups and operating-system behavior.

Data synchronized through iCloud is managed through Apple's iCloud infrastructure and may remain associated with your iCloud account according to Apple's data retention and synchronization practices.

Because Planaway does not require a Planaway account and the developer does not maintain a server-side user database containing your planner content, there is no separate Planaway account to delete.

Users can delete individual lists, tasks, events, habits, and other content directly within the app.

Users can manage iCloud data and iCloud access through Apple's system settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Planaway is a general-purpose productivity and organization application and is not specifically directed toward children.

Planaway does not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-operated servers.

10. Security

Local information is stored using Apple's platform technologies, while synchronized information is handled through Apple's iCloud infrastructure.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but Planaway does not operate an external database containing users' planner content.

11. International Users

Planaway provides the same core privacy practices regardless of the user's region.

Data processed by Apple services such as iCloud and the App Store may be processed according to Apple's infrastructure, policies, and applicable legal requirements.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to Planaway, its features, applicable requirements, or the services it uses.

When the policy is updated, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.

If Planaway's data practices materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
