To create an intellectual space to share and discuss creative, cutting-edge, goal-oriented research that draws from multiple fields and tackles global policy problems.

This is meant to expand from the economics-centered perspectives emerging from Columbia's Sustainable Development (SDEV) PhD program and be a home for interdisciplinary research that might not be fully appreciated or critiqued in more traditional disciplinary seminars.

1. Meet the First Wednesday of each month, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. EST.

• SDEV students, SDEV alumni, SDEV faculty, and members of SDEV Alumni’s labs are welcome

• Each meeting will have three fifteen minute presentations, each followed by 5 minutes for questions.

• Join the mailing list here and sign up to present here

• Meeting links will be sent out to those registered about one week in advance

2. Gradually grow the constituencies present at these meetings

• The meeting room will be extended by 30 minutes (either before or after) for a semi-structured community building space
