Western Places started as a magazine concept, with a regular publication schedule. The early issues have multiple and diverse places, some small and some deserving of small space. The desire to provide more depth on more places required more research, making a quarterly publication schedule unrealistic.

You can subscribe to the Western Places monograph series. For a $48 subscription, you will get the next four issues of Western Places. Since publication dates are irregular, this could span two years. They will be shipped to you automatically, post paid. Being a subscriber will also allow you to purchase back issues of the Western Places monograph series at a 20% discount. This discount does not apply to the Other Books posted on this website, just to books in the Western Places monograph series.

If you want to become subscriber, or if you already are a subscriber and want to order back issues, please contact us.

Places with dark and disturbing histories exist throughout the world. Some of these locations are apparently so fraught with horror that many visitors experience paranormal activity at the sites. In this frightening new series, readers will learn a great deal about the past as they read nonfiction accounts of what happened in historical places and how the happenings are tied to tales of ghosts, poltergeists, and other unexplainable phenomena. The fabulous photographs and chilling text will have readers lining up to visit Scary Places. Not for the faint of heart!

As I got older I wanted to hike more than our well-traveled trails. I did short hikes in Arizona and hiked the Red Rock Mountains in Nevada. I planned a trek through Death Valley in California. I lusted over faraway places like Colorado and Montana.

Our public lands need support. They provide a place for people to fall in love with nature like I did and learn from a young age. People can learn about the plants and animals that live all around us (and maybe meet a few!). Kids can create healthy hobbies when they play outdoors and these beautiful (and almost free!) places give them a chance to do that. This is a great service because those who love nature, respect nature.

Initially influenced by the work of the abstract expressionists, Frank Stella subsequently rejected the movement in favour of more radical forms. In 1960 Stella presented his first series of aluminium paintings at Leo Castelli, causing the first upset in a long history of experiments that saw him tackling minimalism, post-painterly abstraction, and public art. This book examines Stella's life and career in the context of the contemporary art world, featuring works from his recent blockbuster museum exhibitions as well as landmark works from throughout his career.

I've seen plenty of people on Youtube and Reddit talk about the usage statistics of series 2 vgc but I can't seem to find anything. I use pikalytics mainly and that has series 1 but nothing about series 2. Does anyone know where these stats are coming from? and on a side note is there any vgc series 2 content creators that give good insights into teambuilding, My series 2 team hasn't reached the levels of series 1 yet and I sit around 1400 on the showdown ladder. Thanks!
