PLACA DE DESCARGA CANET ©.
At first you will notice the sensation of having a foreign body in your mouth, a probable increase in saliva production, and you may have difficulty vocalising.
All this will pass in a short time. You should not feel any pain or pressure on your natural teeth, only the sensation of extreme adaptation (suction). Avoid allowing your night guard to suffer impacts and falls; it is a custom-made health product that is fragile outside its natural location, the mouth. If in doubt, contact your dentist.
HYGIENE AND SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS.
Your night guard needs cleaning, just like your teeth. When you clean it, do so with a little water in the bottom of the basin to cushion the impact should you accidently drop it.
Rinse with cold or tepid (never hot) water after use and let it dry inside the storage container supplied with the night guard. You can also brush it with a soft-bristled toothbrush and neutral pH liquid hand soap and then rinse it thoroughly.
Every fifteen days, submerge it in cold or tepid water, after adding an effervescent dental prosthesis cleaning tablet (sold at chemist's), for the time indicated by the manufacturer of the effervescent tablet. After this, clean it thoroughly with a soft bristle toothbrush and neutral ph liquid hand soap.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RECOMMENDATIONS MAY CAUSE YOUR NIGHT GUARD TO ACQUIRE A BAD ODOUR AND/OR TASTE.
INSERTION AND REMOVAL.
To put the night guard position, first wet it and then insert it into your mouth by pressing with your fingers. Never press the night guard with your teeth because it could fracture or injure your gums.
To remove from the mouth, use your fingers to pull on both sides at the same time.
If a problem arises do not try to solve it yourself, contact your dentist.
WARNING!
Whenever you feel discomfort in the gums or teeth, you should contact your dentist.
