Dr. Philipp Kuhnke

Cognitive Neuroscientist

Welcome!

I'm a Cognitive Neuroscientist and Postdoctoral Researcher in the BioCog group of the Wilhelm-Wundt Institute for Psychology at the University of Leipzig, as well as a guest scientist in the Lise Meitner Research Group Cognition and Plasticity at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, Germany.

My research focuses on the representation and processing of conceptual-semantic knowledge in the human brain, mainly using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

I teach various classes in the bachelor and master programs of psychology and biology, including seminars on current topics in biological psychology / cognitive neuroscience, as well as practical courses on programming of experiments and computational analysis of fMRI data using Matlab.
