A Mega Outrage

A feral Gyarados lost control in the nearby village after a child attempted to tame it. Unfortunately, part of that training was learning to mega evolve. The child begs you to not hurt the Gyarados. You now have to make the choice between restraining yourself and making things more difficult, or make the challenge easier at the cost of your morality and sacrificing the child's plea.

  1. Fight the Gyarados while restraining

You decide to fulfill the child's wishes. You battle against the Mega Gyarados while at the same time, holding back to ensure that you do not accidentally kill it. This puts you at a disadvantage since you cannot be at your absolute best.

Roll 1: Discord Command: (!roll d20)

  • Roll for fighting/sparing abilities

Roll anywhere between 12-20 to win the quest. If you roll between 1-11, then you will be defeated by the Mega Gyarados and receive a fatal injury, which will need a revival herb in order to continue.

---------------------

After defeating the Mega Gyarados, the child thanks you sparing the creature. They hold open their hands and give you what looks to be... a Mega Evolution Stone! Congratulations, the stone is now yours!

2. Fight the Gyarados with no restraint

You decide to ignore the child's wishes. This Mega Gyarados is far too out of control and needs to be stopped by any means necessary. Your chances of winning are much better now that you don't need to hold back!

Roll 1: Discord Command: (!roll d20)

  • Roll for fighting abilities

Roll anywhere between 4-20 to win the quest. If you roll between a 1-3, then you will be defeated by the Mega Gyarados and receive a minor injury, which will need a sitrus berry in order to continue.

---------------------

The Mega Gyarados has been defeated... but at the cost of it's life. You feel guilt in your body as you watch the poor child cry at the loss of their friend. Because of your decision, the Child does not reward you with the Mega Stone. You continue onwards to the next level of Quests without it.
