I'm a postdoc researcher currently hired at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. In 2019 I obtained my PhD from the Astronomical Observatory of Warsaw University, Poland, and in 2019-2024 I was a postdoc researcher at the Universidad de Concepción, Chile.
I'm passionate about pulsating stars in binary systems. Recently I've been studying how binarity among classical Cepheids affects distance determinations based on period-luminosity relations.
I'm also a proud member of the Araucaria Project, whose main goal is to refine the extragalactic distance scale using various standard candles in various galaxies of our cosmic neighbourhood.
I received training in non-violent communication and need-based coaching. If you're facing challenges in your current career stage and you would like some support, feel free to contact me.
