I am a student at the University of Johannesburg studying towards a BEng in Civil Engineering. As an upcoming civil engineer I am keen to work in the civil engineering sector. My goal is to contribute to the further development of the civil engineering industry. I concur with David P. Billington who writes in his book The Tower and the Bridge that , " Civilization is civil works and in so far as these deteriorate so does society." In furthering civil engineering development I look forward to improving my society by engaging in community programs such as volunteering at the SPCA.
I have a passion for the environment, especially in green buildings. I'm keen and eager to learn new things and enjoy working with other like minded people. I consider myself to be flexible and I'm able to adapt to any role or task. I always give respect to everyone I come across and like to motivate them as they motivate me. I strive for progress everyday even if it's minute. My goal is to one day make a difference in many cities in terms of making them more green and environmentally conscious.

Thomas is a vibrant, very dynamic and ambitious South African young man. When faced with a problem, I spend a lot of my time understanding the problem. This I believe is one of, if not the most important step in a project At times one can come up with the best solution but if it doesn’t fit the brief it would all be in vein.

Itumeleng is a hard worker with a mindset for creativity. His motto in life is " Team work makes the dream work". Thus, he believes that if people with the same goal and ambition where to get together nothing would be impossible for them. Not to mention, he is also good with people skills as well as communication skills. On top of it all, he is a believer of Christ (Christian).

I am a very happy and compassionate person. I enjoy sharing things and talking to people about a variety of things. I have a quick wit and love to laugh about everything under the sun. I can be quiet at first, but once you get to know me, I don’t shut up. I am fun loving, but serious when necessary. I have a logical mind but understand and feel emotions as well.
I am passionate about my work, I have a steady source of motivation that drives me to do my best. I am ambitious and driven. I thrive on challenge and constantly set goals for myself, so I have something to strive toward. I am a people-person and very and very compassionate. I am a team player, I believe there’s value in collaboration and often two minds are better than one
Kanishka has spent his childhood keeping dogs as pets in his home. As someone who has a love for pets and has seen a lot of stray dogs struggling for survival in the streets with no owners, he understands their suffering. While his focus is on pets, he also believes giving to the community is the best thing one can do to make the world a better place for those in need.
He knows that for one to give back to the community, it is not always about money. Giving your time can make a huge difference in someone's life.
He is currently a student at the University of Johannesburg studying Electrical Engineering. As a student he has been involved in a lot of teamwork and works well with other people.
