1. Introduction

2.1.1 Device Permissions We May Obtain When You Use Product Functions
(1) Camera Permission
When you use shooting functions, we need to obtain your device’s camera permission and collect the image content information you provide (personal information). This permission requires your authorization. If you refuse to grant it, you will only be unable to use this function, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions of the product and/or services. You may reject the authorization request or disable this permission in your device settings.
(2) App Tracking Permission
During your use of this product, to remember your identity, analyze your usage behavior, and identify you as a user of this product, we need to obtain your app tracking permission and collect your device’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA). This permission requires your authorization. If you refuse to grant it, your normal use of other functions of the product and/or services will not be affected. You may reject the authorization request or disable this permission in your device settings.
(3) Recording Permission
When you use video shooting functions, we need to obtain your device’s RECORD_AUDIO (microphone recording) permission and collect your voice information (personal information). This permission requires your authorization. If you refuse to grant it, you will only be unable to use this function, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions of the product and/or services. You may reject the authorization request or disable this permission in your device settings.
(4) Photo Permission
When you add photos from your phone album to this product for video creation or avatar setup, we need to obtain your device’s photo permission and collect image information stored in your phone’s storage (personal information). This permission requires your authorization. If you refuse to grant it, you will only be unable to use this function, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions of the product and/or services. You may reject the authorization request or disable this permission in your device settings.
2.1.2 Personal Information We Collect and Use
(1) Product Security Functions
To ensure the normal operation of the software and services, we will collect your hardware model, operating system version, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), Media Access Control (MAC) address, IP address, software version, network access method and type, and operation logs. Please note that these are basic information necessary for us to provide services and ensure normal product operation.
The above permissions are necessary for using corresponding product functions and services. If you do not grant relevant permissions, you will not be able to use related functions, but this will not affect the use of other functions or basic business functions. If you agree to provide your sensitive personal information (*), you consent to our processing of your sensitive personal information for the purposes and in the manner described in this Policy.
(2) Real-Name Authentication
When you run the app for the first time, you may be required to fill in personal identity information for real-name authentication to comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. We do not collect your identity information for any purpose other than real-name authentication.
(3) Use of Application Functions
Video synthesis is one of the core functions of this product. To implement this function, we may collect and use the following information or permissions:
Your operation and usage behavior information, including browsing preferences and creation preferences;
Information you voluntarily provide, including uploaded photos, videos, text, and voice;
When you import images or videos to create and synthesize videos, we will request your authorization to read/modify/access content in the SD card. If you refuse authorization, you will not be able to use the video synthesis function or save the final synthesized video to the album, but this will not affect your normal use of other functions of Lianying;
We will collect avatar photos you choose to upload or voluntarily take to provide you with technical services for modifying or editing short videos on the platform. We will not collect your avatar photos if you do not use the above services;
We will collect your avatar information to verify that the photos you upload are of yourself and protect your portrait rights from being misused. We will not store your personal facial feature information;
We will neither store nor share/process your personal facial information with any third party. Such information is collected solely for facial recognition functions of video synthesis (including but not limited to face fusion, AI face swapping, filters, and beauty effects). Your personal facial information is stored on your device (such as a mobile phone or other smart handheld terminal) and its system at the time you upload the avatar photo. We will not store your personal facial information;
Refusal to provide the above information may disable core functions but will not affect the normal use of other functions and services.
Based on collected information, we will conduct feature analysis and user profiling of your preferences, habits, and location to display or recommend more relevant search results and video content.
For this purpose, we need to collect your device information (e.g., hardware model, device MAC address, IMEI, IDFA, IMSI, necessary software list), browser type, log information, browsing history, search keywords, and location information (precise location is sensitive personal information).
Please note that we process the above collected information through de-identification. Data analysis only corresponds to specific codes that cannot be directly linked to your identity and will never be associated with your real identity.
2.2 Use of Personal Information
2.2.1 Necessary for Implementing Product Functions
Information we collect follows the principles of “lawfulness, legitimacy, and necessity” and is used to implement the aforementioned business functions or services.
2.2.2 Changes to the Purpose of Using Personal Information
If our use of your personal information exceeds the purpose stated at the time of collection and its directly or reasonably related scope, we will notify you again and obtain your explicit consent before using your personal information.
Special notice: Information that cannot identify your personal identity either alone or in combination with other information does not constitute your personal information under the law. When your information can identify your personal identity either alone or in combination with other information, or when we combine non-identifiable data with your other personal information, such combined information will be treated and protected as your personal information during the combined use period in compliance with this Policy.
2.2.3 AI Generation Services
This application provides AI image and video generation services. To fulfill AI generation requests you actively select, we may process photos, images, videos, text prompts you input, and generation parameters you select (e.g., templates, styles, aspect ratios, and duration).
When you use AI generation services, the above data may be sent to third-party AI service providers (including but not limited to Volcengine / Kling AI) with your consent, solely for completing your requested AI image or video generation.
We will not use uploaded photos, prompts, or generated results for ad tracking, identity verification, user profiling, or sale to data brokers.
2.2.4 Facial Data
Photos or images you upload may contain human faces. This application may process such face-containing images solely to fulfill AI video or image generation effects you actively request.
We will not collect facial geometry data, facial patterns, Face ID, facial recognition templates, biometric identifiers, or other biometric data used to identify personal identity.
We will not use facial data to identify or verify user identity, track users, build facial recognition profiles, serve advertisements, or conduct user profiling.
2.2.5 Sharing with Third-Party AI Service Providers
When you choose to use AI generation services and consent to data processing, we may send your uploaded photos, text prompts, and generation parameters to third-party AI service providers solely for processing your current AI generation task.
Third-party AI service providers only process relevant data as necessary for generation services. We will not sell your uploaded images, facial data, prompts, or generated results, nor share such data with advertisers or data brokers.
2.2.6 Data Retention and Deletion
Uploaded photos, prompts, generation parameters, and generated results will only be retained for the period necessary to provide AI generation services. Unless otherwise required by laws and regulations, we will not long-term store your facial data for facial recognition, identity verification, or advertising purposes.

2.2.7 Circumstances Where Consent Is Not Required
Please understand that we may collect and use your personal information without your authorization in the following circumstances in accordance with laws, regulations, and relevant national standards:
(1) Directly related to national security and defense security;
(2) Directly related to public security, public health, and major public interests;
(3) Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment execution;
(4) Necessary to protect the vital legitimate rights and interests such as life and property of the personal information subject or other individuals, but consent is difficult to obtain;
(5) Personal information you voluntarily disclose to the public;
(6) Personal information collected from legally publicly disclosed sources, such as legitimate news reports and government information disclosure;
(7) Necessary for concluding or performing a contract at your request;
(8) Necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of this application and related services, such as detecting and handling malfunctions;
(9) Necessary for legitimate news reporting;
(10) Necessary for statistical or academic research conducted by academic institutions for public interests, and personal information in research results is de-identified when such results are provided to the public;
(11) Other circumstances prescribed by laws and regulations.
3. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies and similar technologies are common Internet technologies. When you use Qingka software and related services, we may use relevant technologies to send one or more Cookies or anonymous identifiers to your device to collect and store information about your access and use of this product. We use Cookies and similar technologies mainly to achieve the following functions or services:
3.1 Ensure Safe and Efficient Operation of Products and Services
We may set authentication and security Cookies or anonymous identifiers to verify whether you log in securely or detect unauthorized use or fraud. These technologies also help us improve service efficiency and speed up login and response times.
3.2 Provide a More Convenient Access Experience
Such technologies help you avoid repeated form filling and frequent logins (e.g., one-click login, recording video creation history).
3.3 Recommend Content You May Be Interested In
We may use Cookies and similar technologies (including Beacon, Proxy) to understand your preferences and usage habits for data analysis, to improve products and user experience, and optimize ad selection.
We promise not to use Cookies for any purpose outside the scope described in this Privacy Policy.
