1. Overview

Pixomodoro is a retro-themed Pomodoro work timer. It operates fully offline and is designed with data minimisation as its core principle.

We do not collect, transmit, share, or sell any personal data.

2. Data collected

Data stored on your device (not transmitted anywhere)

• Work / break duration preferences — Stored in device SharedPreferences — Restore your timer settings between sessions

• Notifications enabled preference — Stored in device SharedPreferences — Remember your alert preference

• Daily session timestamps — Stored in device SharedPreferences — Display the in-app session log

All data is stored locally using the Android SharedPreferences API. It never leaves your device.

Data NOT collected

• Name, email, or any identifier

• Location data

• Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, etc.)

• Usage analytics or crash reports

• Any data shared with third parties

3. Permissions

POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+)

• Used for: Displaying a local alert when a Pomodoro or break session ends.

• When requested: Only when you explicitly enable "Session Alerts" in the app's Settings screen.

• Network involvement: None. Notifications are generated and displayed entirely on-device.

No other permissions are requested or used.

4. Third-party services

Pixomodoro uses no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data collection.

The flutter_local_notifications package is used solely to display on-device notifications. It does not collect or transmit data.

5. Children's privacy

Pixomodoro is rated "Everyone" and targets general audiences aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, this requirement is automatically satisfied.

6. Data retention

Session log entries are stored locally in SharedPreferences and persist until the app is uninstalled or the user clears app data. No data is retained on any server.

7. Security

Because no personal data is transmitted over any network, there is no risk of interception. Local storage is protected by standard Android app sandboxing.

8. Your rights

Since no personal data is collected, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete beyond uninstalling the app or clearing app data from your Android settings.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be made available at the same URL referenced in the Play Store listing. The "Last updated" date will reflect the revision date.
