This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how PixGroove ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). It also outlines your privacy rights and the legal protections available to you.

We use your personal information solely to provide and improve the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Policy.

1. Personal Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to deliver and enhance the Service. The types of personal information we may obtain include:

1.1 Data & Cloud Processing To provide AI-powered editing functions (including AI portraits, video generation, face beautification, etc.), PixGroove requires the upload of your media to our cloud servers for processing.We implement content filtering mechanisms to prevent the generation of harmful, explicit, or illegal content. Users can report any inappropriate AI-generated content via the in-app 'Report' button. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for users who repeatedly attempt to generate prohibited content.

• Collection & Use: We do not collect facial feature data from the images or videos you voluntarily upload. The uploaded content is used solely to generate the specific AI effects or content you request.

• Storage & Processing: Due to the high computational requirements of AI generation, your encrypted media files are processed on secure cloud servers (e.g., Amazon Web Services).

• Privacy Protection: We do not share your data with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We do not use your data to identify you individually or for authentication purposes.

1.2 Communication & Support-Related Information When you contact us for customer support, technical assistance, or feedback, we may collect information contained in your communication, including your name, contact details, and any other personal information you voluntarily provide.

1.3 Usage & Device Information We automatically collect information about your interaction with the Service and your device, including:

• Usage details: IP address, access logs, resources accessed, and interaction history within the Service.

• Device attributes: Unique device identifier (UUID), operating system version, device model, and mobile network information.

1.4 Cookies & Similar Technologies We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to gather information about your interactions with the Service, helping us improve usability and personalize your experience.

1.5 We may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks such as Google AdMob. These partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data to provide and measure personalized or non-personalized advertisements in accordance with applicable laws. Users in certain regions may be asked to provide consent for personalized advertising.For users in the EEA and UK, we utilize Google’s Consent Management Platform to obtain your permission for personalized advertising. AdMob may use IDs like the Android Advertising ID (AAID) to provide its services.

2. How We Use Your Personal Information

• Provide Core Features: To deliver AI photo/video editing services. We process uploaded images solely to apply the requested effects or generate content.

• Facilitate Content Sharing: At your direction, link your PixGroove account to third-party platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) to publish content.

• Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, resolve issues, and address feedback.

• Security & Safety: To prevent fraud, abuse, misconduct, and security breaches; safeguard the rights and safety of PixGroove, our users, and employees.

• Service Improvement: To diagnose technical issues, administer the app, and analyze usage trends to optimize user experience.

• Legal Compliance: To verify your identity and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

3. Device Permissions We Request

To provide enhanced services, we may request access to certain device permissions. You can manage or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings. Revoking a permission will terminate the corresponding feature.

3.1 Android Device Permissions

• Camera: For shooting and recording functions.

• Storage (Read/Write): To edit and save photos/videos.

• Network Access: To allow cloud processing and service connectivity.

4. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

PixGroove does not sell your personal information. We may share your information with third parties only in the following limited circumstances:

• Authorized Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party vendors to perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and AI computation.

• Cloud Storage & Processing: Uploaded media is processed on servers hosted by providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• AI Models: We may use customized AI models (e.g., Stable Diffusion) to process your photos. Note: Your photos are used strictly to generate content for you or to create a temporary, personalized model for your specific session. We do not use your personal photos to train our general foundation models for other users.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.

• Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring party.

5. Third-Party Links & SDKs

The Service may contain links to external websites or integrate third-party SDKs. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

6. International Transfers

Your personal information may be stored and processed on servers located in countries other than your country of residence (e.g., AWS servers in the US or other regions). We ensure that all international transfers comply with applicable legal requirements and that your information is protected according to this Policy.

7. Data Security & Retention

7.1 Data Retention Period We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service or fulfill legitimate business purposes.

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active or up to 6 months after termination (unless longer retention is required by law).

• Raw Data / Uploaded Photos: Minimization Policy. Original photos uploaded for AI processing are automatically deleted from our cloud processing servers immediately after the generation is complete. We do not retain your uploaded images.

• Data Deletion Rights: Users have the right to request the deletion of their account and associated data at any time. You can delete your account by contacting us at pixgrooveaihelp@163.com. Once requested, we will delete your personal data within 7 days, except where retention is required by law.

7.2 Data Security Measures We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission is 100% secure. Please keep your account credentials confidential.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. 9. Designated Countries

In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") or any equivalent legislation (collectively referred to as "Data Protection Laws"), we process the personal information of users located in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland (collectively referred to as the "Designated Countries") based on our contractual agreement with you.
