PixelCore Privacy Policy
App: PixelCore: NES Emulator (com.bgappsch.pixelcore)
Last updated: 14 October 2026
PixelCore is developed by BG APPS CH. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
The short version
PixelCore has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of its own. It does not upload your game files, your saves or anything else. The only data that leaves your device is what the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects in order to show ads, and only after you have been asked for consent.
What PixelCore stores on your device
All of this stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app:
- Your game library — the names and sizes of the game files you added or found in the folder you chose, so the library list can be shown without rescanning every time.
- Copies of game files you add one by one (with Add games, or by opening a file with PixelCore) — kept in the app's private storage so they keep working after the original is moved. Removing a game from the library deletes its copy.
- Save states and battery saves — kept in the app's private storage and keyed to the contents of each game file, so renaming or moving a file does not lose its saves.
- Your settings — control layout positions, button mapping, scaling and orientation preferences.
PixelCore reads game files only from the files and folder you explicitly pick, and only to run them. It never uploads or transmits them.
What PixelCore does not do
- It does not search for or download any game files. The only games included are PixelCore's own three demo games.
- It does not create an account or ask for any personal information.
- It does not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, location or messages.
- It has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
Advertising
PixelCore is free and supported by advertising through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. To show ads, Google may process your device's advertising ID and related technical information. This is used for advertising and measurement.
Before any ad is requested, PixelCore shows Google's consent form where required (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland). You can change that choice at any time from About → Advertising preferences inside the app.
Google's own handling of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device's Android settings under Privacy → Ads.
Children
PixelCore is not directed at children under 13.
Permissions
- Internet — used only to request ads.
- Access to the files or folder you choose — granted by you through Android's own file and folder pickers, read-only, and revocable at any time from Android settings. PixelCore requests no broad storage permission.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
