Information stored on your device
Widget settings, selected photos, notes, tasks, step totals, music details, device status and generated pixel app icons stay on your device.
Network requests
When you enable the weather widget, approximate latitude and longitude are sent to Open-Meteo to return current weather. Market widgets request public market data from Nasdaq. These requests do not include an account ID, advertising ID, name, email address or selected photos. Network providers may receive standard connection information, such as an IP address, while processing a request.
Optional Android access
Pixel Widgets asks for access only when a matching feature needs it:
• Approximate location supplies local weather.
• Usage access supplies the screen-time widget.
• Notification access reads active media sessions for music controls.
• Activity recognition reads the step counter.
• Bluetooth access reads connected earbud status.
• Camera access controls the torch widget.
• Selected photos supply photo widgets and pixel wallpapers.
• Modify system settings opens Android controls for supported quick-setting widgets.
Data sharing and retention
Pixel Widgets does not sell personal data. It does not send notes, tasks, photos, music details, installed-app choices, Bluetooth details, usage history or sensor readings to the developer. Users can remove local data through Android app settings or by uninstalling Pixel Widgets.
