Learning Objectives
The aim of this course is to introduce quantum computing for mostly undergraduate students in computer science. Contents of the courses include:
Basics of quantum computing and associated linear algebra.
Quantum computing algorithms (classic algorithms like quantum phase estimations, quantum fourier transform; modern examples like variational quantum algorithms and QAOA).
Quantum error correction (Quantum error correction conditions, stabilizer formalism, surface code and fault-tolerant quantum computing).
See the corresponding materials in Canvas.
