Pitchreel Privacy Policy

Pitchreel ("Pitchreel", "we", "us", or "the app") is built and operated by the Pitchreel team. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Pitchreel iOS app and its in-app features.

By using Pitchreel, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Summary

• We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the app.

• We do not operate our own servers that store your photos, prompts, or videos. Your content is sent directly from your device to our AI provider to generate a video, and the result is returned to your device.

• Your videos, creation history, and settings are stored only on your device.

• We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or third-party trackers.

• You can delete everything the app holds at any time with Settings → Clear all data, or by uninstalling the app.

Information we handle

Content you provide. To create a video you supply: one or more product photos you choose, the product details and selling points you type, the voiceover language and format options you select, and any answers you give the in-app "director" when it asks clarifying questions. This content is used solely to generate the video you requested.

Content the app generates. The storyboard, prompts, narration, and the finished video produced from your input. These are stored on your device.

App settings. Your interface language, default video model, appearance, and similar preferences. These are stored on your device using the system's standard preferences storage.

Optional API key. If you choose to enter your own Replicate API key, it is stored in the device Keychain (see "On-device storage" below).

We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, health data, biometric data, browsing history, or other sensitive categories of personal information.

How our AI features work

Pitchreel turns a product photo and a few details into a short video using third-party AI models. To do this, the content you supply (your selected photos, the details you type, your option choices, and your answers to the director) is transmitted directly from your device to Replicate, Inc., our AI processing provider. Replicate runs the AI models (for example, the creative-director model and the image-to-video model) and returns the generated result to your device.

We do not store your photos, prompts, or generated videos on any server operated by us. Replicate's handling of the data it receives is governed by Replicate's own privacy policy, available at https://replicate.com/privacy. The AI model providers whose models run on Replicate may also process the request as part of generating your video. We encourage you to review Replicate's policy to understand how your content is handled in transit and during processing.

Please avoid including personal, confidential, or sensitive information in your photos or text, since that content is sent to the AI provider to fulfill your request.

On-device storage

Your generated videos, your creation history, and your app settings live on your device only. The app reads and writes these using standard iOS storage (the app's local file storage, the system preferences store, and the app's local database).

If you choose to provide your own Replicate API key, it is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. It never leaves your device except as the authorization header attached to requests your device makes to Replicate. If you do not provide a key, the app uses a shared key compiled into the app to reach the service.

Tap Settings → Clear all data to immediately delete your history, generated videos, cached files, and any API key you entered. Uninstalling the app also removes all of this data from your device.

How we use information

We use the information described above only to:

• Generate the videos and storyboards you request.

• Save your creations and history on your device so you can revisit them.

• Remember your settings and preferences.

We do not use your content to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use analytics or tracking technologies that follow you across other apps or websites.

Sharing and disclosure

We share content only as needed to provide the app's core feature:

• With Replicate (our AI provider) to process your request and generate a video, as described in "How our AI features work".

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, to comply with a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public. Because we do not maintain our own servers that store your content, the practical scope of any such disclosure on our side is limited.

We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Data retention

Content you create is retained on your device until you delete it (individually, via Clear all data, or by uninstalling the app). We do not retain copies on our own infrastructure. Content processed by Replicate is retained according to Replicate's policies; please refer to Replicate's privacy policy for details.

Security

Requests between your device and Replicate are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Any API key you enter is held in the iOS Keychain, which is protected by the operating system. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Pitchreel is rated 12+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us at bang77bang88@gmail.com and we will help address it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

Because Pitchreel does not collect personal data on its own servers and keeps your content on your device:

• Access and portability: Your videos and history are available to you directly within the app and in your device storage.

• Deletion: Deletion is immediate and within your control via Settings → Clear all data, or by uninstalling the app.

• Requests: For any privacy question or request, contact us at bang77bang88@gmail.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

International users

The AI processing that powers the app may take place on servers located in countries other than your own. By using the app, you understand that the content you submit may be transmitted to and processed by Replicate in connection with generating your video.

Third-party services

The app relies on Replicate (https://replicate.com) for AI processing. The app may also link to external pages such as this policy and a support page. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version at this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here; your continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
