While most centaurs migrated or perished at the advanced of winter, a few species did make it through. One particular one was a species with a large nose, originally used to make rumbling calls. Now were used to warm air, becoming a massive successful clade that rules Gaia, Northern Aletia and the northern sections of Shelterea. With their effective breathing and chewing often grew to large sizes, becoming great devourers of both plant and carcass.
This specific species is a vicious aggressive lad, due to lacking the size of their cousins. They have turned to aggressivity and weapon tails. The genus of Porcumsexacrura are aggressive members of the Great-nosed Centaurs, with each species possesing a different form of weapony on their tails. The Axetail has gone for well an axe tail. With powerful muscles in their tails, they can swing hard and mortally injure various predators.
Their sharp blade like molars and sharp incissors easily cut up grasses, leaving entire patches of grounds free of grass and bare. Those teeth are also used to scavenege, cracking and cleaning up a carcass from seconds to hours depending on size. Though some has chosen to hunt, running down various organisms and cracking their legs open. Sometimes they even go for the neck, killing it's prey instantly. can be used as well to injure predators. However while brutal to predators, they're often more brutal to each other, especially males. Clawing and biting each other for mating rights, their sharp teeth fatally injuring and even killing each other.
However despite being rather savage, they're also still caring. Mothers are very caring to their twins, often being rather aggressive when watching them. Though this is accompanied by soft cuddling, or even singing to them with strange calls. These calls aren't terrifying roars, but strangely haunting rumbles.
Though their relatives are bigger yet gentler than this beast..
