Reed Slitherer

As the lands started presenting more opportunities to exploit gave arise to one of the weirdest fish of the Auroracene. Meet the Reef Slitherer. Descendants of Gouramis that took to the tall grassy rices. Their feelers evolved to be stronger and more prehensile to move from the tops of rices without falling down. These feelers also help in quickly snatching up insects from afar.

Unfortunately for their size they’re quite an easy meal, Soarers and Falconflies regularly snatch them up. Sandracos occasionally chow them down but prefer bigger more meatier prey.
