Examples of what we do
Single dwelling wastewater treatment plant - Manaccan, Cornwall
Pipeline Wastewater was approached to investigate the existing drainage system of a large detached house.
It was found that there was no system in place and therefore a new a scheme was required to provide property with a suitable treatment plant.
As the property was let during the summer as a holiday cottage sleeping up to 8 people, and would only receive sporadic use during the winter, a system was needed that would cope with this varying usage.
It was decided to install small sequential batch reaction (SBR) package treatment plant in the front garden, which would discharge a very high quality final effluent via a small pumping station to a drainage field sited at the top of the rear garden.
The whole project was managed by Pipeline Wastewater from feasibility to completion to the satisfaction of the home owner.
Drainage Mound, near Camborne Cornwall
Sometimes when the natural table water is very high, this causes problems with the disposal of treated effluent from a septic tanks etc.
This was the case at a property just outside Camborne were Pipeline Wastewater were asked to come up with a solution.
As a drainage field could not the laid under the ground the solution was to create a drainage mound that would allow the effluent to permeate through a layer of suitable media thus receiving its final treatment before mixing with the ground water.
