Born in Karnal, Haryana , I completed my schooling in Bhiwani and Post Graduation from Rohtak. Started my teaching career in 1983 and joined KVS as PGT English in 1987 and became Principal in 2009. After serving in  Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Mumbai.

In 2007,  I was selected for the TEA Fellowship by IREX- FULBRIGHT  and attended Teaching Excellence & Achievement Programme at George Mason University Virginia USA.

KVS Regional Incentive Award was awarded as Principal  in 2015 and KVS National Incentive Award was conferred in 2019. I retired in 2021 and followed my passion for writing.

Journey in the literary arena brings forth life's valued lessons learnt all along; experiences that made me reflect over my life's path; gratitude for the blissful moments and desire to learn more and more.

My published books of Hindi poems are अनुभूति के पल, उड़ान और कुछ पल. Rising Ripplles and Blooming Buds present poems in English.
