Mini split systems allow you to control the temperature in individual rooms. Unlike a central air system that involves ductwork, mini splits use no ductwork and are hooked up in the rooms that need temperature control.

To check a sensor, use the manual the system came with to locate the sensor you need to check. Look at the sensor and the wiring for any possible shorts or breaks. Also, check for resistance. Unfortunately, sometimes a unit was wired wrong from the beginning, and after some time goes by, the mini split error codes begin to alert.

As you heat and cool your home, keep the system maintained and use the complete guide to common mini split error codes when needed. In return, a mini split will give you years of comfort with an efficient system.

I have a Samsung 4K Q60R QLED TV and a Pioneer receiver (VSX-515V) that I use as a home theather. The receiver is plugged to my TV through an optical cable. Everything used to work perfectly until I updated to the latest firmware, AND reformatted my TV. After the re-format, the volume on the remote never worked again....same errors as mentioned by others. Samsung obviously messed something up with their update relating to the pioneer IR code datebase.

Now for the fix. The issue seems to be with the Pioneer IR code database so just find a receiver, that is NOT pioneer, that uses the same remote IR code as your receiver. I used this site " +controls/setup/questionsone/122842.htm" and found that the brand "WARDS" uses the same IR code as mine (RCA, Optimus, Magnavox, Capetronic, ADC, and Yamaha all seem to have IR codes that may overlap with some of pioneer's too). I then followed the procedure on my TV again for linking my remote, but when asked for the brand just searched "WARDS". The first attempt failed but the second "WARDS" code it used was able to power off my receiver as expected. It now all works fine again!

Thanks for the solution. I have a similar setup. Samsung Q80R connected to Pioneer VSX-1021-K via optical. I connected all my devices (Fire TV and Blu-ray player) directly to my TV and able to control using TV remote. after facing hdcp error and UE22 I decided not to use HDMi connection between my TV and Pioneer and instead using optical. I am able.to control the volume of the pioneer with Samsung remote. But when I turn off the TV power the receiver power is still on. How can I setup so that the TV on/off control both the TV and receivers power? As a last resort I can use universal remote, but would like Samsung TV remote to work. Please help!

I have a Pioneer VSX 933 and I am trying to add it in Home Assistant.

I used to use Domoticz only, but I want to switch to Home Assistant so I have now one Raspberry Pi with domoticz running and one with Home Assistant.

In Domoticz I was able to control it using the onkyo-eiscp commands.

In Home Assistant I tried to control it using the Pioneer and Onkyo add-ons, but no luck (yet, hopefully).

These are the errors I get:

I have the Pioneer vsx-1124 unit with the AS-WL 300 wi-fi unit. Since up grading to iOS 10.1.1 the iControlAV 5 has generated the B27102 error message. After exhausting all efforts I am now using a router extender, instead of the AS-WL 300 unit, with a hard line to the vsx-1124. Now both my iPhone and iPad are running the iControlAV 5 perfectly.

Pioneer has identified a connectivity issue between newer phones using USB Type-C (Nexus, Pixel, etc.) and Android media playback and control compatible Pioneer in-dash receivers when used with a non-certified or non-compliant USB Type-C cable or USB Type-C extension cable.

If you are experiencing this connectivity issue, we recommend directly connecting the Pioneer in-dash receiver to the phone using only a certified USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable, preferably under 3 ft. in length.

Good afternoon. I would like to ask for some help with my Hoover-1 electric scooter. It suddenly started to have a `jumping/bumping` movement of the front wheel (as if the brakes were always on). The control panel turns on but the scooter doesn`t run. Also, the scooter shuts down after I try to accelerate or brake during movement (no issues with control panel while immobile - brake lights respond appropriately). Any suggestions on how to fix the problem? Is it the motor or a short circuit? Or is the braking system malfunctioning?

Good luck to all of you....I have emailed this company three or more times and they are useless. They keep repeating the samething over and over in their response..." It is after the 90 day warranty"...Our issues are with a defect in the braking mechanism that is a manufactured defect, we've had three now bc of the same issue but it was before the 90 days with the other two. Now we are seeing the error code E2 and a long constant beep. My kids take exceptionally good care of their scooter, not a scratch or dent, and the company still lacks to acknowledge any wrong on their part!! Will not ever by their products again.

I'm really out of ideas, so I'm trying my luck here.

I building a small project of car stereo remote control.

It will simply send IR codes at button pressing.

I have all the HEX codes I need except of answering/ending calls.

I read about IR and know how it works.

I also understand how the HEX code becomes binary led blinking.

The problem with trial and error is that the hex codes are 8 bit long (meaning 32 bit binary).

The first 4 are constant, but I still have to guess another 4hex = 16 binary.

Might take forever

"When I play music files over the XDJ-XZ controller (with Asio driver) the music sound crackling, like an old vinyl record was played. When I play that same song over the build in Realtek audio it sounds OK (or at least as long as I tested it didn't crack).

Hi , similar problem here with my Amazon box , select the box in the menu and it turns on , I can go to access kodi and it then looses connection and comes up " plug in the device " etc .... I've turned off cec control in the Amazon box to see if it fixes it , I have tried new cables etc

Control theory is a field of control engineering and applied mathematics that deals with the control of dynamical systems in engineered processes and machines. The objective is to develop a model or algorithm governing the application of system inputs to drive the system to a desired state, while minimizing any delay, overshoot, or steady-state error and ensuring a level of control stability; often with the aim to achieve a degree of optimality.

To do this, a controller with the requisite corrective behavior is required. This controller monitors the controlled process variable (PV), and compares it with the reference or set point (SP). The difference between actual and desired value of the process variable, called the error signal, or SP-PV error, is applied as feedback to generate a control action to bring the controlled process variable to the same value as the set point. Other aspects which are also studied are controllability and observability. Control theory is used in control system engineering to design automation that have revolutionized manufacturing, aircraft, communications and other industries, and created new fields such as robotics.

Control theory dates from the 19th century, when the theoretical basis for the operation of governors was first described by James Clerk Maxwell.[1] Control theory was further advanced by Edward Routh in 1874, Charles Sturm and in 1895, Adolf Hurwitz, who all contributed to the establishment of control stability criteria; and from 1922 onwards, the development of PID control theory by Nicolas Minorsky.[2]Although a major application of mathematical control theory is in control systems engineering, which deals with the design of process control systems for industry, other applications range far beyond this. As the general theory of feedback systems, control theory is useful wherever feedback occurs - thus control theory also has applications in life sciences, computer engineering, sociology and operations research.[3]

A notable application of dynamic control was in the area of crewed flight. The Wright brothers made their first successful test flights on December 17, 1903, and were distinguished by their ability to control their flights for substantial periods (more so than the ability to produce lift from an airfoil, which was known). Continuous, reliable control of the airplane was necessary for flights lasting longer than a few seconds.

By World War II, control theory was becoming an important area of research. Irmgard Flgge-Lotz developed the theory of discontinuous automatic control systems, and applied the bang-bang principle to the development of automatic flight control equipment for aircraft.[9][10] Other areas of application for discontinuous controls included fire-control systems, guidance systems and electronics. 17dc91bb1f
