Rider:
Riders should wear a well-fitted, long-sleeved Western shirt in solid colors or subtle patterns.
A properly fitted Western hat is a traditional and essential component of the attire. If green or untrained horse, Riders are needed to wear a helmet for safety reasons. HATS ARE NOT JUDGED DUE TO THIS REASON.
Choose either well-fitted, clean denim jeans or Western-style pants. Chaps or chinks, if worn, should coordinate with the overall look.
Western-style boots with a modest heel are required. Ensure they are clean and in good condition.
A Western hat is a mandatory element of the attire. Helmets can be worn, especially by youth riders, in accordance with safety regulations.
Horse:
Any black or brown bridle, if you must wear noseband, that is okay.
Any black or brown western saddle.
Any coloured saddle pad.Â
Any leg wraps are allowed if wanted.
Horses should be well-groomed with a neatly brushed mane and tail. Braiding is optional.
