Thank you for taking the time to reach out. As I mentioned above, my name is Pilar Milla, and I live in Lima, Peru. I have 1 year of experience in game design and 6 years of experience in UX and UI, primarily focused on web design. Since the age of 3, I've been in love with video games because of the countless stories and experiences they can convey and share. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to work in local game development studios, and I was fascinated by game design area. Now following my dream, I decided to start my own studio, Rainbow Cat Studio.
Here, you can see some of the projects I've been a part of, with the majority of them being born from game jams. These experiences have gradually taught me about the game development process.
A project I was part of during my time working at Bamtang Games. I joined the project during the production phase, so most of my contributions are in level design, engine implementation, and balancing to improve the game flow.
Level design and engine implementation of the tracks San Ricardo and Africa.
Engine implementation and balancing of the 36 challenges in the game.
Testing of tracks in normal mode and cups for AI balancing.
Made with Godot
A project created during this year's Global Game Jam, and the first experimental project I worked on with my Rainbow Cat Studio team. The team chose the challenging path and used tools and visual styles we hadn't used before, which made development much slower. Although we didn't complete the game according to the initial scope, it was a valuable learning experience and the first step for our studio.
