Parent Auxiliary

Parent Involvement

Ongoing research shows that family engagement in schools improves student achievement, reduces absenteeism, and restores parents' confidence in their children's education. Students with involved parents or other caregivers earn higher grades and test scores, have better social skills, and show improved behavior.

  • Orientation
    • Before every new session parents must attend the parent orientation dates and times for each session’s orientation. Parent Orientation is the final step in the enrollment process.

  • Parent Conference
    • Each P.I.I. citizens growth and achievement is important to us. P.I.I. staff members may request a meeting with parents to discuss growth of their child, and parents may also request a meeting with P.I.I. staff.

Each family must volunteer 2 hours a month with P.I.I.

Our leadership will communicate volunteer opportunities each month.
