A/C - Point the white A/C remote, which is located on the wall by the sliding glass door, at the white mini split unit up on the wall to control the thermostat. For cold air, press the “Mode” button until you see a Snowflake icon. For heat, press “Mode” until you see a Sun icon. It takes a few minutes for the system to fire up.

Watch TV - Use the black ROKU remote and select YoutubeTV.
Listen to Music - Download the Sonos app on your phone to control music at the blind. We have 2 zones of audio on Sonos: One zone for music inside the blind on the TV’s soundbar and another zone for the outside deck speakers. If you would like music on the buggy, take the portable JBL bluetooth speaker in the buggy.
Electricity - We are 100% off-grid at the pig blind and utilize solar panels, batteries and a propane generator to generate and store electricity. If you have any issues with electricity, please contact Jordon Ringel. To monitor the electricity - Click Here
The Red Pig Lamp - If the red pig light turns on that means there is motion detected at the close feeder to the north!!! Note - Do not turn the pig lamp switch on/off - it’s connected to motion sensors and will automatically turn on/off.
Distance to Feeders: 91 yards to the close feeder to the north, 188 yards to the feeder across the pond, 480 yards to the far north feeder behind the close feeder.
Leaving the Blind - Make sure to shut off the A/C, turn off all lights and electronics, take your trash and close all the window blinds. Thanks!
