Biography

👋 Hello! I'm Piergiuseppe, a Telecommunications Engineer with a passion for research and innovation.

🎓 My journey in Telecommunications Engineering started in April 2008, when I earned my M.Sc. degree from the University of L'Aquila (Italy), under the supervision of Prof. Fortunato SantucciThen, I attained my Ph.D. in Telecommunications from the School of Electrical Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology, in January 2013, under the supervision of Prof. Karl Henrik Johansson and Prof. Carlo Fischione

💼 My professional journey took an exciting turn in August 2014, when I joined Ericsson Research. Over the course of five enriching years, I served as a project manager and researcher, specializing in radio networks for machine-type communications. My contributions extended beyond the research realm, as I also represented Ericsson as a standardization delegate in the Bluetooth SIG, playing a role in shaping the Bluetooth mesh standards.

🏫 In August 2019, I returned to my academic roots and joined the University of L'Aquila. Here, I have the privilege of serving as an Associate Professor in Telecommunications Engineering. I'm committed to nurturing the next generation of engineers while pushing the boundaries of research in this dynamic field.
