If you want a complete, modern wireless audio solution with active noise cancellation and massive battery life for your gaming or travel setup, choose Picun NC60; if you need a specific repair part to fix the broken swivel mechanism on your existing Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones, choose SOULWIT Hinge Swivel Replacement. These two products serve entirely different purposes in the world of personal audio, and comparing them directly as if they were competitors would be a mistake. One is a standalone device designed to replace your current listening experience, while the other is a precision mechanical component intended to extend the life of a specific high-end model. Understanding this fundamental difference is the first step before you even look at the specifications.
• Picun NC60: Delivers hybrid active noise cancellation, 80-hour battery life, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, but requires a full purchase and pairing rather than fixing an existing unit.
• SOULWIT Hinge Swivel Replacement: Restores smooth folding and rotation functionality to the Sony WH-1000XM4 with durable plastic construction, but offers no audio features or sound quality improvements.
• Who is Picun for? The user seeking the best true wireless earbuds for switch-style portability (though these are over-ear) or sleep headphones for switch users who prioritize long battery life and noise isolation during long sessions.
• Who is SOULWIT for? The owner of damaged Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones who needs a cost-effective way to restore physical functionality without buying a brand-new pair.
The Picun NC60 is engineered for the listener who wants a self-contained audio experience that does not rely on a phone or computer for power for days at a time. With a stated average battery life of 80 hours, this headphone is built for endurance. Whether you are on a long-haul flight, working through a week-long project without a charging break, or simply traveling across borders where outlets are scarce, the 20Hz to 20,000Hz frequency range and dynamic driver design promise a broad spectrum of sound. The inclusion of Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation means it can actively filter out ambient drone, making it a strong contender for those looking for the best earbuds for switch when they are away from home or in noisy environments.
Its design focuses heavily on versatility and comfort for extended wear. Constructed from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and metal, the enclosure suggests a build that balances weight with structural integrity. The foldable nature of the earpiece shape allows for compact storage, which is crucial for anyone who carries their gear in a backpack or carry-on bag. Furthermore, the Bluetooth 5.4 technology ensures a stable connection, reducing latency issues that might occur during gaming or video watching. If you are searching for sleep headphones for switch because you fall asleep with music playing, the 32-ohm impedance and transparency mode allow you to hear your surroundings when needed without taking the headphones off, adding a layer of safety and convenience.

However, this product is not for everyone. It is a new purchase, meaning you are committing to buying a whole unit rather than repairing what you already own. If your primary goal is simply to fix a broken hinge on a different pair of headphones, the NC60 is irrelevant. Additionally, while it supports a 3.5mm jack for wired connections, it is primarily a wireless device. You must also consider that the 2-hour charge time is a significant block of time compared to some faster-charging competitors, though the payoff is the massive 80-hour runtime. This is a device for someone ready to upgrade their entire audio setup with a focus on modern features like custom EQ via app and multi-point connection capabilities.
The SOULWIT Hinge Swivel Replacement serves a very narrow but critical function: it is a spare part designed exclusively for the Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones. If you have owned the WH-1000XM4s for a few years, you likely know the frustration of a hinge that has become stiff, loose, or completely broken. When the pivot joint fails, the headphones often cannot fold flat, rendering them awkward to store and potentially damaging the headband structure further. This replacement part is made from durable, high-quality plastic specifically formulated to restore that smooth swiveling action. It brings back the original functionality of the device, allowing the left and right ear cups to rotate freely again.
This product is strictly for the DIY repairer who values the specific sound signature and feature set of the Sony WH-1000XM4 but refuses to buy a new pair just because one mechanical part has failed. The package includes detailed instructions to guide you through the installation process, acknowledging that swapping out a hinge requires care and attention. It is a black component that matches the aesthetic of the original hardware, ensuring a seamless visual repair. Unlike the Picun, which is a complex electronic device with drivers and batteries, the SOULWIT part is purely mechanical. It does not improve the sound quality, nor does it add new connectivity options. Its sole purpose is to make the physical movement of the headphones feel new again.
It is important to note that this item is not compatible with any other headphone model, including the Picun NC60 or any other brand. The compatibility list is strict: only the Sony WH-1000XM4. If you have a different model, such as the XM5 or XM3, or any other brand entirely, this part will not fit. There is no warranty description provided for this specific accessory, so buyers should be aware that it is a single-use component meant to solve a specific mechanical failure. This is a solution for someone who loves their Sony headphones but needs a quick, affordable fix to keep them using them for another year or two. It is the definition of a targeted, problem-solving accessory rather than a consumer electronics upgrade.

I recommend the Picun NC60 for the vast majority of shoppers looking to upgrade their audio gear. The combination of 80-hour battery life, hybrid active noise cancellation, and Bluetooth 5.4 makes it a versatile tool for travel, work, and gaming. It solves the problem of outdated hardware by providing a fresh, modern listening experience that stands on its own merits. However, if you are reading this because your Sony WH-1000XM4 hinges are snapped, then the answer is clear: you need the SOULWIT Hinge Swivel Replacement. I would never suggest buying a new pair of headphones just to fix a broken hinge when a simple, specific part exists to do the job. Ultimately, the decision comes down to whether you need a new device for your switch setup or a repair part for your Sony headphones.
No, the Picun NC60 is a standalone pair of headphones and is not a replacement part for the Sony WH-1000XM4. They are two separate products serving different functions.
It is not listed as compatible with the XM5 or other models.
While the Picun NC60 works wirelessly out of the box with standard controls, it offers a Custom EQ feature via an app that allows you to personalize the sound profile. Basic playback does not strictly require the app.
