The film of Death Island was a suggestion on a Movie Idea form that was submitted in 2018. The Pickyman Team chose to work on it right away. Started the script development, looked for actors, forming a budget. The Team tried to get everything done to film that year. But then development got slow, and there was no way they could get the film complete that year. So on June 24th, 2018; Pickyman launched a video about the cancellation of Death Island. After that, the script and the topic were untouched until the very beginning of 2020.
The script was revised and was completed on February 13th, 2020. Props for the film were purchased. The Team set up film locations, script copies, and film dates. Then the time had finally come! We filmed for multiple day's, every weekend. We filmed 20+ hours in total.
We took a break from filming for Mother's Day. We hadn't filmed in almost two weeks. The Team got together for the first time since on May 13th, 2020. We talked about it when we could film again. But we realized there wouldn't be enough time to finish the film. Plus the vegetation at our film locations is rapidly growing, which would make it difficult to get in, wouldn't be realistic to the film and ultimately could put our lives in danger. To right then and there, the team deiced to postpone the film at 10:38 PM.
The Pickyman Team is subject to vote one-of-three possibilities we could do.
We will post another article after the decision is made.
