Piatt Pund hails from San Diego and is now based in NYC. He has released one album, and three EP'S. His first project "Pund" was recorded at the age of 18 at Pacific Beat Recording Studio in Pacific Beach, CA with recording engineer Alan Sanderson (The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, B.B. King), which earned him an SDMA nomination for Best Blues Album. Piatt has performed at nationally renowned venues such as The House of Blues (San Diego), The New Orleans Jazz Museum, The Spreckles Organ Pavilion, Rockwood Music Hall, The Delancey, and The Bowery Electric.
"Piatt Pund brings funky, hard driving rhythm guitar together with kick-ass vocals, supported by a ridiculously tight band that never lets the groove sag. It’s rock n roll rooted in R&B, funk and blues—in song after song, the three musicians revel in their ability to collectively spin out a vibe that gets the whole room going. A really great band." - Bob Stillman Juilliard, Princeton University, Tony Award Nominated Actor and Composer, Star Trek Voyager)
To ring in the new release, I'm having a single release party at Arlene's Grocery on 7/29 starting at 7pm. I'll have show posters, new merch (denim bags and skirts), and exclusive "SQUEEZE" stickers for you to get your hands on. 50% of all merch sales will be donated to the NYC Humane Society so they can keep helping animals in the 5 boroughs and providing proper care. My goal for this show is to sell 100 tickets! Wow, big number I know! But here's the deal, I want you to "SQUEEZE" the most out of this show and release. So If you buy presale here at this link and RSVP, you will get the following: Signed show poster, limited edition SQUEEZE sticker, a dedication in the release credits, AND a private listening link to the entire song. If you don't do streaming, this is the best way to support and you get a downloadable copy of the tune for yourself. Getting to perform at a venue where Lady Gaga and The Strokes have graced the stage is a milestone for me, and I wanna share that with you. So show up and show out! If you're not around, send this info to your neighbor, bestfriend, loved-ones, not-so-loved-ones, mailman, local representative, or just someone you know who likes music. I want to continue to bring the best music possible and share it with whoever wants to listen, so now's the time to make this the BIGGEST and BEST Piatt Pund show to date.

"His album takes you on a funky, jazz flavored journey with pop elements that make you feel the joy in every beat. Piatt’s guitar playing pulls you into his world whether it’s at the club, the bar, in a park on a sunny day with your crush, or smoking in the rain." Breonn Lyons (artist, podcast host, actor)

Piatt wants to extend his gratitude and sincerest of thank you's to everyone who made this tour possible! Exploring new cities and meeting people on the scene was extremely rewarding, and friendships made will continued to be fostered. From everyone who came out to the shows, to the hospitality we experienced in each city and venue, it could not have been a better run across the west and to the coast. Piatt is now back in NYC and looking forward to releasing "Smoking In The Rain" this coming October! Until then, happy listening folks!
