Piatt Pund hails from San Diego and is now based in NYC. He has released one album, and three EP'S. His first project "Pund" was recorded at the age of 18 at Pacific Beat Recording Studio in Pacific Beach, CA with recording engineer Alan Sanderson (The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, B.B. King), which earned him an SDMA nomination for Best Blues Album. Piatt has performed at nationally renowned venues such as The House of Blues (San Diego), The New Orleans Jazz Museum, The Spreckles Organ Pavilion, Rockwood Music Hall, The Delancey, and The Bowery Electric.
"Piatt Pund brings funky, hard driving rhythm guitar together with kick-ass vocals, supported by a ridiculously tight band that never lets the groove sag. It’s rock n roll rooted in R&B, funk and blues—in song after song, the three musicians revel in their ability to collectively spin out a vibe that gets the whole room going. A really great band." - Bob Stillman Juilliard, Princeton University, Tony Award Nominated Actor and Composer, Star Trek Voyager)
Fresh off his summer tour and two new releases, “Smoking In The Rain” makes its mark as the third single off of Piatt’s upcoming sophomore album.
A spacey and melancholic guitar fuels the regretful tone of the lyrics, and the intertwined driven bassline keeps the rock factor alive and well.
Having workshopped it on the indie and rock scenes of NYC, this song makes its long-awaited arrival to the public.

“My Awkward” is the fourth and final single off of Piatt’s upcoming sophomore album, which is set to release Feb 26 2026, and holds itself as the standout character from the bunch.
The playfulness from the bossa enhances the comedic atmosphere while also laying down a soft bed of groove for a classic story to unfold.
The delicate tone of the guitar and bass lay the foundation for a song that builds steadily and coyly.
