Biography

I was born in Copenhagen on the 18th of August 2002. I moved to England at the age of 2 with my parents and joined St Collette’s school, which was where I found my interest for music. At the age of 5 I got a classical CD for kids on my birthday, which I loved, and repeatedly listened to. This CD included pieces like Prokofiev’s “Peter and the wolf” and Stravinsky’s “The Firebird Suite”. I moved to the Perse Prep aged 7 and moved to the Perse Upper school aged 11, where I currently play piano in a swing band and participate in competitions.

I had different teachers until I met Hilary Herron aged 12, who I thought was a brilliant teacher and encouraged me to practise extensively. She guided me to interpret Chopin, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and more with my personal style and technique. Hilary also introduced me to help young children on how to practice and play piano in public. I’ve then performed solo piano recitals at Michael House, Great St Mary and Wimpole Hall.

Hilary introduced me to Patrick Hemmerle, a french concert pianist. Patrick has helped me re-develop my technique, focusing widely on Alexander technique, a technique which has helped me greatly. I am now with Heli Ignatius-Fleet, who helps me preparing for my next level regarding competitions and further development. Furthermore I play piano in the restaurants, I have got a youtube channel and I play organ. I’ll play organ for services including Christening, Christmas Carol, Easter services.

My hobby's beside music include maths, tennis, golf, swimming, shooting, flying and computer programming in school. I occasionally enjoy playing chess, although I am not great at it, and the same bowling.
