1.1.1 Background- Chronic Ankle instability (CAI) is commonly used to classify a subject with both mechanical and functional instability of the ankle joint. Mini trampoline Balance training and self mobilization shows effective ankle joint stability for individual CAI. This training programs to improve the functional joint stability in CAI population.
1.1.2 Objectives-To study the effectiveness of mini trampoline & self mobilization for improving joint stability in CAI patient.
1.1.3 Subjects and methods- In this Randomised controlled trail 40 young adults diagnosed with CAI were participated .The data was collected by experimental study from students both gender studying in GCP College participated .Subjects are randomly assigned to GROUP 1 (Mini trampoline balance training) n=20 and GROUP 2 (self mobilization) n=20.
1.1.4 Results-At the end of 12 week training both the group ( GROUP 1 and GROUP 2 ) Improvement in star excursion balanced test, Cumberland ankle instability tool , Ankle ability Measure in CAI.
1.1.5 Conclusions –This studies showed that both mini trampoline and self mobilization both are effective for improving ankle stability in CIA patient by SEBT, CAIT and Ankle ability measure tool .
1.1.6 Keywords - CAI (chronic ankle instability), SEBT (star excursion balance test ),CAIT (Cumberland ankle instability tool).
