1.1.1 OBJECTIVE
The KMRT aims at observing movement faults or compensation strategies and glenohumeral joint. In the shoulder joint anterior movement fault is commonly seen in clinical practice which can be easily assessed by KMRT. A clinically used tool to identify movement control dysfunction at the shoulder gridle. The KMRT rating system is based on the therapeutic subject interpretation has present or absent. The primary objective of the study is to know the inter rater and intra rater reliability KMRT in subject with or without shoulder pain and application of this test with greater confidence in the clinic.
1.1.2 METHODOLOGY
Sixty subjects were participated in the study among them twenty subjects included with shoulder pain and twenty without shoulder pain for interrater reliability. Remaining subjects were participated for intra rater study. Two independent assessors with different experience level rated KMRT has present or absent after screening for inclusion criteria. Intra rater reliability done with interval of two weeks.
1.1.3 RESULTS
We established the inter-rater reliability of KMRT with pain for GHAT K=0.681 and for SCFT K=0.659. Inter -rater reliability without pain for GHAT K=0.612 and for SCFT K=0.857. Intra-rater reliability for SCFT K=0.667.
1.1.4 CONCLUSION
Based on the finding we can conclude that KMRT is the KMRT is the good tool in the clinical practice for dissociation of movement of humerus and scapula for subjects with shoulder pain and without shoulder pain.
