This Privacy Policy describes how Photum ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application Photum (the "App"), a platform that connects clients with photographers for bookings.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use the App:
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address so we can identify you, set up your profile, and let you sign in.
Phone Number: When you create an account, we require you to provide your phone number. Your phone number is stored securely and is accessible only to Photum administrators; it is not displayed on your profile and is not visible to other users of the App. Because providing a phone number is mandatory, you will not be able to use the App without providing one.
Photos: Photographers and users may upload photos (such as portfolio images and profile pictures) to the App. These photos are uploaded to and stored on our servers so they can be displayed within the App to other users.
Messages: The App includes in-app messaging so clients and photographers can communicate about bookings. We collect and store the content of these messages to operate the messaging feature.
Location Information: With your permission, we collect your approximate or precise location to help you find and connect with photographers near you. You can control location access through your device settings.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Create and manage your account
Enable bookings and communication between clients and photographers
Display photographer profiles, portfolios, and photos within the App
Show you relevant photographers based on your location
Respond to support requests and improve the App
Maintain the safety, security, and proper functioning of the App
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the App. For example, your name, profile photo, and messages are shared with the other party to a booking (the client or photographer you interact with) so the service can function. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users. Your phone number is not shared with other users of the App; it is accessible only to Photum administrators.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data Retention
We retain your account information, uploaded photos, and messages for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
