Our photography team has updated procedures and implemented preventive measures that include, but are not limited to: Student Masks - Our intent is to photograph all students without a mask. Students will be asked by a school employee or volunteer to remove their mask when it's their turn to be photographed. Inter-State photographers cannot require a student to remove their mask. If a student prefers, they will be photographed with their mask on. Social Distancing- The distance between the camera and a student is over 6 feet. We will work with school administration to utilize the largest and most open space in your school available, to aid in distancing. Photographers will wear face coverings as required. Sanitation of Photo Equipment- Cameras, equipment and stools will be sanitized between every class or group. No-touch Order Envelope Collection- We are working to be 100% paperless this year, with all ordering done safely online. In the rare case that your school absolutely needs Order Flyers, a collection container will be available to place Order Envelopes. Whenever possible, we will keep the same teams of photographers together, minimizing their exposure to other photographers.

Additionally, we will continue to follow guidance from local authorities in each of the communities we work in regarding further developments and will accommodate additional school requirements when necessary. Sure, sometimes they are cute and actually good but some kids just don't do well with them no matter how many retakes you dress them up for the setting is always cold, and the photographer for whatever reason doesn't check the photos to make sure it looked good before the child walks away. By the way... as a photographer I will never understand why they don't. Like, its easy. Hit the play button... look at it... say lets try that again. Easy.

Yes, the images taken at schools have come up a little from the days of a simple backdrop that looked like it stepped out of the 80's to some cool set ups with a fake tree or something to lean on but they still feel super JC Penny's to me.

So why am I even thinking about this. I don't have kids in school... and you're right, I don't but it makes my heart hurt a little every time I meet a parent or talk to a student and I hear about how they don't like the backdrops or classic "School Portraits". Their kids never "Look good" in their photos and they are just generally displeased with the outcome of them for some reason or another but end up buying the prints anyway.

Since school photos are inevitable and have to be taken for yearbook reasons it's something we may just have to deal with. However, for the mom out there that want's a good photo, I hear your struggle and I have an idea for you. Let the school do their images but hire someone you trust to actually take decent high quality images of your child that show who they are and how they have grown up from last year OR ask your school to hire a local photographer. You would not only be helping not a small business but chances are your images will look better because they are going to care more. It's on a personal level at that point because you're now working with someones passion and they WANT AND NEED it to look good... Trust me- I know.

While fall offers the traditional school picture appeal, Spring portraits offer a more fun and laid back approach. Students get the opportunity to show their individuality and create a look that is truly their own.

The University of Wisconsin Law School, which began in 1868 with just two part-time law professors and 15 students, has grown into a world-class institution that has conferred more than 21,000 law degrees. In honor of those graduates, UW Law School is pleased to present its first-ever digital collection of alumni photos, spanning from 1873 to the present day.

A print collection, located in the UW Law Library since 1996, had previously been the only way to view photos of our graduates. Our digital collection enables users to search for graduates by name for individual photos, or by class year to view a composite of a particular class. Our preferred photographers have a close connection with Culver along with extensive experience in photography.

As the largest building on the Carnegie Mellon campus, the Tepper Quad reflects a new model of collaborative business education. The 315,000-square-foot David A. Tepper Quadrangle will serve as the new home of the Tepper School while intersecting with the other six Carnegie Mellon colleges and schools.

The district serves about 9,000 students in 16 schools: 12 elementary schools, three middle schools and Albany High School, a comprehensive high school with a career and technical education center. Every individual photographed has a unique access key for each picture day.If the individual was photographed on more than one picture day they may have multiple access keys.To locate an access key we will need to know the school or organization, the picture day, the individual's nameand possibly the grade/teacher or coach.

Photos taken at one of these sessions will automatically be uploaded to your faculty profile and the NM.org "Find a Physician" directory. You will be asked to sign a media release which explains these potential uses. If you are affiliated with Feinberg School of Medicine, we will also share out your image to be posted on the faculty directory as well. You will also receive a copy for your own use on department pages and for speaking engagements. Our turnaround time for physician photos is two weeks.
