Quantum NanoPhotonics Lab @ KIST

Welcome to the QNP Lab (PI: Dr. Hyounghan Kwon) @ Center for Quantum Information at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST)! 

Our group experimentally investigates integrated photonic systems for the applications in quantum information sciecne and engineering. Research interests are integrated quantum/nonlinaer optics; Nano-scale optical hardware for various quantum systems; Free-space optical elements driven by metamaterials and integrated photonics; Scalable nanofabrications with optimized photonic designs; Co-integration of photonic-electronic systems.  

우리 연구실은 반도체 공정을 통해 제작 가능한 집적 광소자를 개발하고, 해당 소자를 활용한 양자 정보 분야를 실험적으로 연구합니다. 본 연구실에서는 집적화된 소자를 이용한 양자 광학 시스템, 원자/이온/점결함 기반의 양자시스템을 위한 새로운 광기반 하드웨어, 메타물질과 집적 광학소자에 기반한 새로운 공간광 소자, 확장성 있는 공정법과 최적화된 디자인을 통한 양자 광소자의 대량 생산 시스템, 최적화된 양자 소자 개발을 위한 전기/광학 동시 집적시스템 등을 주제로 다학제적인 연구를 수행합니다.
