Photo Finish ("we", "the app") is a math and ledger utility for friendly social pools between friends. This policy describes what we do and don't collect
Photo Finish has no accounts, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising identifiers. The app does not transmit your pools, entries, names, amounts, or any other content to us. We do not run any servers that store your data.
Photo Finish is a record-keeping and math utility. It helps a group of friends watching a sports event together keep track of who picked what and what would be owed in the friend group if they choose to settle up amongst themselves. The app does not accept, hold, move, or facilitate any payment of money. It does not connect to any sportsbook, racetrack, casino, online gambling operator, or any other paid gambling service.
Photo Finish has an optional feature called "Scan a roster". When you choose to take or pick a photo of a printed race card or roster, the photo is sent directly from your device to our AI provider, Replicate (https://replicate.com). Replicate's vision model returns a structured list of contestants which is displayed in the app and pre-fills the pool form. We do not store the photo. Replicate's privacy policy applies to their handling of the request and is available at https://replicate.com/privacy.
If you do not use the "Scan a roster" feature, no network requests are made by the app.
Your pools, entries, settings, and any cached photos live on your device only. Tap Settings → Clear all data at any time to delete everything immediately. Uninstalling the app removes the data as well.
Photo Finish is rated 4+ on the App Store and is not directed to children. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
European Union and California residents may request information about, correction of, or deletion of personal data. Because the app does not collect personal data, deletion is automatic when you uninstall the app or use Settings → Clear all data. If you have questions or requests, contact us at the email below.
