We want to be absolutely clear — Photo & File Recovery does NOT collect:

1.3 Anonymous Crash Reporting
If the App experiences a crash, it may automatically send an anonymous crash report to the distribution channel through which it was installed (e.g., Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore, Huawei App Store, etc.). This crash report may contain:
Device model and operating system version
App version
Stack trace and error logs
This information is used solely for the purpose of improving the App and ensuring it works properly on a wide range of devices. No personally identifiable information is included in these reports.
2. How We Use Your Information
The only information processed by the App is the data on your device's storage that you choose to scan. This data is used exclusively to provide you with the App's core recovery functionality:
To scan your device's internal and/or external storage for recoverable files (photos, videos, documents)
To display scan results for your review
To allow you to select and recover (save) files to a new location of your choice
Important: The recoverable results shown by the App come exclusively from your device's local storage. The App does not write, transmit, or upload any recoverable data without your explicit knowledge and action.
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Local-Only Processing
All scanning and recovery operations are performed locally on your Android device. Your files and data never leave your device. We do not operate any cloud servers or remote databases to store or process your files.
3.2 Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
All scanning occurs within the App's sandboxed environment on your device
The App does not transmit any recovered data over the internet
No data is uploaded to any external server or cloud service
3.3 Data Loss Risk
Important: Photo & File Recovery is a data recovery tool. While we strive to maximize recovery effectiveness, we cannot guarantee that all deleted files will be recoverable. The App does not create backups of your data. We strongly recommend regularly backing up your important files to external storage or cloud services.
4. Permissions Required by the App

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Required to scan your device's internal and/or external storage to find recoverable photos, videos, and documents.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Required to allow you to save (recover) selected files to a new location on your device.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES
Required for scanning image files on devices running Android 13 and above.
READ_MEDIA_VIDEO
Required for scanning video files on devices running Android 13 and above.
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 11+)
Optional - Required for full storage access on devices running Android 11 and above to perform a complete scan. You may grant this permission if you want the App to scan all storage locations effectively.
INTERNET
Required only for displaying advertisements (see Section 5) and for anonymous crash reporting (see Section 1.3).
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Required to check internet connectivity before loading ads.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+)
Optional - To notify you when a scan is complete. You may deny this permission.
Photo & File Recovery does NOT request: Camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, phone, or any other sensitive permissions beyond those listed above.
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Advertising
Photo & File Recovery may display advertisements to support the free use of the App. Our advertising partners may collect certain device information to serve relevant ads, including:
Device advertising ID
Device model and operating system version
IP address
App interaction data (for ad relevance)
The data collection practices of our advertising partners are governed by their respective privacy policies. You can opt out of personalized advertising by:
Going to your Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

5.2 App Distribution Platforms (Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore, Huawei App Store, etc.)
The App is distributed through third-party app stores. These platforms may collect analytics and crash reports as described in Section 1.3. Their data collection practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.
5.3 No Other Third Parties
Photo & File Recovery does NOT integrate with any other third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms. We do not use:
Google Analytics
Firebase Analytics
Facebook SDK
Any other tracking or analytics service beyond standard ad SDKs and crash reporting
6. Data Sharing
We do NOT share your personal files, photos, videos, or documents with anyone. Specifically:
We do not collect, sell, rent, or trade your personal data
We do not share your data with advertisers (ad SDKs receive only device-level data as described in Section 5.1)
We do not share your data with any government agencies unless legally required
We do not share your data with any business partners or affiliates
We do not use your data for credit checking or consumer reporting
7. Children's Privacy
Photo & File Recovery is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not collect any personal data on our servers, your child's files remain only on their device.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with any information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have full control over your data at all times:

9. Data Retention
Your data and files remain on your device at all times. The App does not store, backup, or retain any of your files on external servers.
Scan results are temporary and are not persisted after you exit the App
Recovered files are saved to a location you choose on your device
If you uninstall the App, all App data is removed from your device
10. International Users
Photo & File Recovery is available worldwide. Since all scanning and recovery operations occur locally on your device:
Your files and data remain within your physical possession at all times
Your data is subject to the laws of your jurisdiction
We do not transfer any data across borders because no data ever leaves your device
We do not operate any data processing facilities outside your device
11. Disclaimer Regarding Security and File Recovery
11.1 No Guarantee of Recovery
Photo & File Recovery uses advanced scanning algorithms to help you recover deleted files. However, we do not guarantee that all deleted files will be recoverable. The success of recovery depends on various factors, including:
Time elapsed since deletion
Device usage after deletion (new data may overwrite deleted files)
Device storage type and condition
File system structure
11.2 No Guarantee of Security
While we use commercially reasonable practices to protect your privacy and security, we cannot guarantee that your information or communications will always be private or protected. Third parties may unlawfully intercept or access information transmitted to or contained on the device, technologies may malfunction, or someone might access, abuse, or misuse information despite a lack of permission.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will:

Notify you through an in-app notification or announcement
