Ankit Chaudhary ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Photo Billing (also known as Bills Collection) app. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. We are committed to transparency and handle your data strictly in accordance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies.
1. Information Collection and Use
To provide a seamless experience, including cloud synchronization and data backup, our app collects certain information.
a. Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
Email Address: When you sign up or log in, we collect your email address to manage your account, secure your data, and provide cloud-sync capabilities across devices.
User Data: We store information about your stores, bills, and customer ledger entries (Udhar Khata) to provide the app’s core functionality.
b. Device Permissions
Camera & Gallery: Used strictly to allow you to take photos of bills or select existing images for organization.
Storage (Read/Write): Used to save bills locally and export/share images.
c. Billing & Ledger Data
Images: Photos of bills are uploaded and stored securely on cloud servers (Supabase) to ensure your data is backed up and accessible if you change devices.
Ledger Records: Transaction details (amounts, dates, customer names) are stored in our cloud database (Firebase Firestore).
2. Cloud Storage and Synchronization
Unlike previous versions, the current app utilizes cloud services to provide data persistence and multi-device access.
Database: We use Google Firebase Firestore to store your store details and ledger entries.
Images: We use Supabase Storage to host bill images. Your data is private and is only accessible through your authenticated account.
3. Third-Party Services and Advertising
We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These include:
Google AdMob: To serve advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers (Advertising ID) to provide personalized or contextual ads.
Google Firebase: For authentication (Firebase Auth) and database management (Firestore).
Supabase: For secure image storage.
Google Fonts: To provide a consistent and modern visual experience.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
With Third Parties: We do not sell or rent your data.
User-Initiated Sharing: You may choose to share bill summaries or ledgers via third-party apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Email). Once shared, that data is subject to the privacy policy of the receiving app.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data as long as your account is active.
Account Deletion: Currently, if you wish to delete your account and all associated data (Email, Bills, and Ledger records), please contact us at ankitch2504@gmail.com. We will process your request within 7 business days.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase and Supabase to protect your data in the cloud. However, the security of data stored locally on your device also depends on your own device's security settings (PIN, Biometrics).
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
