I want to add a phone icon next to our telephone number in the menu. I searched the web and found some code (please see below) and inserted it into my Custom CSS (I'm using 7.1). All I get is a square. This is a first for me--I've never used Fontawesome and don't have a login (not sure if I need a membership, which I don't want to pay for a single icon).

Hi All, Referring the image. I have this green phone icon at the top of all my apps. This is not present on the home screen. The only way I can get rid of it is to shut down and restart. Even in flight mode the icon appears. It pulsates as though something is on, but nothings connected and even with my iPhone off or on flight mode as well its there. What is it? and how do I remove it through settings?

It appears the unicode that you are using isn't rendering properly. What browser are you trying it in? Have you tried a different phone unicode number like "\2706"? The only thing you would have to link in your markup is the CSS file for the unicode.

Hi @user53116. You can tap the microphone icon, located between the red phone and the speaker icons, to speak with visitors at your door. Tapping the speaker icon will allow you to hear audio from the Doorbell. I hope this helps!

Also I often pull out my phone, note something, and put it away quickly. Sometimes I put the phone away before Sync has finished uploaded the new changes. This would happen less if the Sync icon were always visible.

I had the phone number on the left, without the icon, but when I added a second lightweight icon, even though the controls had the phone number text widget aligned to the left, it would align to the right.

I have a fully responsive website so there is no need to have mobile app for the website. However most of my visitors will be access the site from mobile phones and their IT knowledge is limited. I want to create an icon which the visitors can download and put as icon short cut on phone. I know there is a way to create short cut icon on smartphone like bookmark , but most of my users won't know how to do it and it will be difficult for them to follow instructions. Can anyone help? The last one has actually killed me. I was more than sure that completely removing the program that caused (probably) icon to be replaced (and then performing another icon cache purge) will resolve the issue. Yet, it didn't. IrfanView is gone from my system, replaced Settings' icon remains.

However, fast forward to October 2021 and the problem re-occurred and the earlier Display Scaling switching did not fix the problem this time! After some reading I found this solution to a Some Windows 10 UWP icons not displaying on search, or in settings problem and it seems possibly that my new problem was potentially caused by an upgrade from Google Backup and Sync to Google Drive File Stream. In this solution the Display Scaling switching, deletion of all keys under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.png\ShellEx was required as well beforehand (and presumably to prevent new keys being added, the permissions for the ShellEx key are removed for Administrators).

I.e. I didn't need to reboot or logout for the fix to take effect (and I only have one monitor and so didn't need to power any additional monitors down). I did have to wait about 5-10 seconds after performing a Display Scaling switch as the problem was not fixed when I initially performed a Windows start menu search immediately after the Display Scale switch. Presumably it takes some time taken for the search icons to be regenerated in the background after a Display Scaling switch has been made.

The root cause for me was that I had disabled thumbnail view in advanced performance settings. It seems Windows uses the thumbnail display of Windows to display the app icons.So, I enabled thumbnail view and then refreshed the icon cache via the display scaling as mentioned above.

when i click the phone icon on my phone, i get a message saying 'unfortunately, phone has stopped'!!! i am unable to male phone calls, return calls, see call history etc. however, i am still able to call from the text page if a text from a paeticular number is there, but i am not able to access contacts or anything through phone. i need the dialer to make new calls!!! please help! this phone is only 3 weeks old, i paid a lot for it, and am very disappointed with this. this malfunction is also eating into my phone service plan time, so it has just been a big loss for me all round. i have tried to power off, amd reboot the phone several times, with no result, and also update wireless, but it willnot update! this is disgusting! blu should refund my money so that i can get a decent phone asap!!

As a last resort try the factory restore feature of the phone. Be aware that this will erase all your user data and downloaded apps. it will restore the phone to its' factory default condition. It will be like when you first bought it.

i downloaded a dialer app from playstore that has a dialpad, allows me to see call history, make calls. i can still receive calls on the old phone app but i cannot see the calls missed when i open the new dialer, i can see the number of the missed call (but it does not show on the icon that a call has been missed.i only see it on the first phone icon--shown by a number onthe icon,1,2etc.

Cordless base station was plugged into secondary socket which is wired to the back of the main VM socket. The two satellite phones are plugged into 13A sockets. Yesterday all phones were working. Well, it is not a Bell or Rogers feature, it is a feature of Samsung, it just happens to come pre-installed in that handset you bought, you have the ability to turn it on or off if you like. if you own a phone without the feature you can download the hiya app and it basically does similar thing
