Masivapp store built the Phone Clone - Data Transfer app as a free, ad-supported app. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information if anyone decides to use our app.
Phone Clone - Data Transfer is designed to transfer files between devices over a local Wi-Fi Direct connection. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. Specifically:
We do not require user accounts or registration
We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers
We do not store your files on any server — all file transfers happen directly between your devices over a local network
We do not track your location or store location data
Our app requests the following permissions solely for the purpose of providing its core functionality:
Wi-Fi and Network Access: Required to establish Wi-Fi Direct connections between devices for file transfer.
Location (Android 12 and below): Required by Android's Wi-Fi Direct API to discover nearby devices. This permission is not used to track or store your location. On Android 13 and above, the Nearby Wi-Fi Devices permission is used instead.
Storage / Media Access: Required to browse, select, and save files during the transfer process.
Camera: Used solely for scanning QR codes to establish connections between devices.

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use your device's Advertising ID to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your consent preference.
AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data for advertising purposes.
You can opt out of personalized advertising through the consent dialog shown when you first open the app, or through your device's settings under Settings > Google > Ads.

We use Google's UMP SDK to display a consent form to users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This allows you to choose whether to consent to personalized advertising.

All file transfers occur over a local Wi-Fi Direct connection between your devices and do not pass through any external server. Ad-related network communication uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Our app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
Since Phone Clone - Data Transfer does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, uninstalling the app will remove all app-related data from your device. Files that were transferred and saved to your device's storage (e.g., Pictures, Downloads) will remain on your device and can be deleted manually.
