About the Author.
Phoebie Anne is a new author who lives in a small town in Pennsylvania. Her dreams are to one day move to Florida and be an author and marine biologist. "Seaside Secrets" is her debut book that she started writing when she was 15. She loves reading books, and through reading, it inspired her to experiment with writing her very own book. She lives with her mom, dad, sister, and pets. She has a dog, cat, rabbit, chickens AND fish! Phoebie's biggest inspirations to start writing books are Lynn Painter, Sarah J. Mass, and Holly Jackson. She loved their styles of writing and instantly picked up on it. Phoebie's biggest supporters are her family, her boyfriend, my best friends, and of course, Jesus. Phoebie is a proud follower of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, as she incorporated some biblical mentions into her book to spread the gospel to people that may skim past a "religious" book. "Seaside Secrets" is a young adult romance book (which even an older audience could still read and enjoy) but also is teen friendly, lighthearted, and fast paced. Fun facts, Phoebie is cyber schooled, in National Honors Society AND in National English Honors Society, an artist, and is also a competitive dancer and baton twirler!

How did I start writing my book?
How did I start writing my book?
Honestly, it consisted of a lot of Google searches, researching, and I scheduled meetings with an English teacher from my cyber school who is experienced and has released books. Luckily, I got to learn how she budded as an author and how she got to where she is now! I started by obviously brainstorming an idea, plot, characters, and took my time to piece it all together. I know my very first book won't be my best but hey, everyone has to start somewhere.

Soon! I want to create a Youtube channel to film and publish videos and to collaborate with my family, boyfriend, and best friend so I can personally connect with my audience rather than just being an author name that people may recognize on books! Once I make it, I will link it under this tab!

I wanted a title that reflected on the setting of the book along with the romance and "secrets" that we follow throughout the book!

What's the most surprising thing you've learned while writing?
I'd say the most surprising thing I've learned is that my original idea of something changes so much as I write. I think of new and more exciting ideas as I go, and sometimes that changes the plot from my original idea. I'm also now WAY more aware of not just my own grammar and spelling, but also everyone elses😂

A Court of Thorns and Roses + series- Sarah J. Mass: I know its not one book but I simply can't narrow it down
A good girls guide to murder- Holly Jackson: SOO GOOOD I adore her and her books!
Good Girl, Bad Blood- Holly Jackson: same reasons as #3. This book is so unexpected and thrilling
One of Us Is Lying + Series- Karen M. McManus: I've never watched the TV series but I absolutley lovvveeee these books.
