1. Information We Collect

Philosophy: History & Ideas is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.

At this time, we do not require users to create an account and we do not directly collect personal information such as:

• Your name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Postal address

• Contacts

• Precise location

• Photos or videos

• Financial information

• Advertising identifiers

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App may store certain information locally on your device in order to provide its functionality.

This may include:

• App settings and preferences

• Language selection

• Theme preferences

• Onboarding status

• Saved philosophers, ideas, periods, works, or other content

• Recently viewed or explored content

• Other local app state required for the user experience

This information is intended to remain on your device and is not transmitted to JVN Consultancy unless a future feature explicitly states otherwise.

Removing the App may also remove locally stored App data, depending on your device and operating-system behavior.

3. Analytics and Tracking

The App currently does not use third-party advertising services or behavioral advertising.

The App currently does not use personal information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

The App currently does not sell personal information.

4. Accounts

The App currently does not require or provide user accounts.

Because no App account is created, there is currently no account information stored by JVN Consultancy that requires an account-deletion process.

5. Purchases

If the App offers paid downloads or purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play, payment processing is handled by the applicable store provider.

JVN Consultancy does not directly receive or store your full payment-card information.

Apple and Google may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.

6. Support Communications

If you choose to contact us for support, feedback, or another reason, you may voluntarily provide information such as your email address and the contents of your message.

We use this information only as reasonably necessary to:

• Respond to your request

• Provide support

• Investigate technical issues

• Improve the App

Information sent through your email provider is also subject to that provider's privacy practices.

7. Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Those platforms may independently collect information relating to downloads, purchases, diagnostics, device usage, or store activity according to their own privacy policies.

The App may also rely on operating-system and application-platform technologies necessary to provide and distribute the App.

JVN Consultancy does not control information independently collected by Apple, Google, or other third-party platform providers.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is an educational reference application and is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children.

Because the App currently does not provide accounts, social features, advertising, or direct collection of personal information, users are not asked to provide personal information in order to access its educational content.

If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

9. Data Retention

Information stored locally by the App remains on your device until it is removed through the App, the device's storage controls, or deletion of the App, depending on the relevant feature and operating system.

If you contact us directly, we may retain correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to design the App in a way that minimizes unnecessary collection and transmission of user information.

However, no electronic system or method of storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. International Users

The App may be available in multiple countries and languages.

If future versions of the App process personal information through online services, information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live. Any such processing will be reflected in an updated version of this Privacy Policy where required.

12. Your Privacy Choices

Because the current App primarily stores preferences and saved content locally, you can generally remove locally stored information by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App, depending on your operating system.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes, when our privacy practices change, or when required by law or platform policies.

If a future version of the App introduces features such as user accounts, cloud synchronization, analytics, advertising, or additional data collection, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
