Philipp Kempski

Welcome! I am currently a 5th year graduate student in the UC Berkeley Astronomy Department. I work with Eliot Quataert on topics in plasma astrophysics, with a particular focus on the physics of cosmic rays. I am particularly interested in how small-scale physics affects the evolution and appearance of astrophysical objects on large scales.
