If this is your first attempt to log in please send an email to info@phil-mont.com requesting a password (the reset password link is not working yet). When the password arrives go back to the login and enter your email as the username and the password.

Please note that Canvas does not fully support mobile browsers, and features may not function (especially grades) as expected compared to viewing Canvas in a fully supported desktop browser. Logging in on a browser is much better than using the app on a phone.

The default notifications in Canvas will send notifications for various events that occur in the context of the students' courses please follow these steps to change notifications (turning them on or off).

• Click on the Account icon on your Canvas home page (upper left)

• Click on Notifications

• Click on any Green icon in the Email column and select Notifications Off

Phil-Mont desires to work with you in every way possible to enhance the acquisition of Godly wisdom for your children.  This involves the acquisition of knowledge but also developing Christian character and discipline and good study habits. We strongly feel that this tool will help us in providing better communication and feedback to students and parents, but it will not take the place of the face-to-face teaching and mentoring that every teacher is so good at. 

This tool may be of no interest to some parents whose students achieve highly and are very motivated - however, it may be of immense use for a variety of reasons, including helping students who need some extra attention and oversight. It is provided to parents as an option if they desire or need to use it. Student use of the Canvas system is not optional.
