Heyo! I’m Reuven, and I’m originally from California; and then spent a lot of time on Canada’s west coast. I love long walks on the beach; however, a growing issue seen on beaches everywhere is trash, whether washed up or tossed at the scene, and I hate it. Most of it is composed of plastic, as it takes thousands of years to break down, truly just breaking into smaller pieces that become harder to deal with, known as microplastics. My overall goal is to help the environment; thus, a major part of that is attacking this plastic problem. I hope to find sustainable systems to aid in the detection and bioremediation of microplastics in our environment. 

When not ranting about plastic and how 3D printers are a bane to our existence, I enjoy snorkeling, gardening, hiking with my dog, and watching lots of movies/TV. I consider myself a pretty good movie critic and always love to give recommendations!
