This season transitions to a new format, moving away from revolving around a spy agency (after it is revealed ISIS was never sanctioned by the U.S. government), to depicting the characters embarking on a life of crime as they attempt to sell cocaine.[3]

ISIS is raided and disbanded by the U.S. government when it transpires that the agency was never sanctioned by them. Cyril, Pam, Cheryl, Krieger and Ray promptly spill the beans about all of ISIS's operations, while Lana and Archer creatively break out of custody, only to find that Malory has managed to get everyone off the hook, on the condition that ISIS be dismantled immediately. As the staff discuss what they all plan to do next, Archer reveals a hidden vault containing a ton of cocaine and Lana sarcastically suggests that they form a cartel. The episode ends with a montage of scenes from the rest of the season.[1]

Disguised as a doctor and nurse, Archer and Lana take twenty kilos of cocaine - hidden in plaster covering Pam's entire body - to a deal with an unknown buyer. A nervous and sweaty Pam absorbs cocaine through her skin and ends up addicted - to the point of eating the plaster/cocaine body cast. They then meet with the buyer, who turns out to be Ramon. Ramon is making the buy on behalf of Rudy and Charles, all three last seen in the Season 1 episode "Honeypot." As the deal turns increasingly sour and all three buyers wind up dead, it is revealed in the final scene that it was an elaborate ruse to steal the cocaine from ISIS, pretend to be dead to throw suspicion, and to have paid ISIS in counterfeit bills. Meanwhile, Cheryl is beginning her goal of becoming a country music star, performing the original song "40 Miles of Mountain Road" in the background of the episode. Singer Jessy Lynn Martens provides her vocals. While horrible in rehearsals, it's discovered that when no one is watching her, Cheryl is an amazing singer, pushing Malory to become her agent.

The gang decides to use the counterfeit money to buy guns, but Pam takes it instead to buy amphetamines from the Yakuza. They trace Pam down (as she had left a full and detailed listing of living at Cheryl's mansion at her old apartment) as the Yakuza boss, Mr. Moto, demands the drugs be returned. He also wants Pam's head, and despite Cheryl offering to pay him, he still refuses. Cheryl reveals she has an entire arsenal of old-fashioned weapons the team uses to defend the mansion from Yakuza attackers. They manage to use the tunnels built under the mansion by one of Cheryl's crazy uncles to escape, and Archer cuts a deal with Moto to give away 5 million dollars worth of cocaine to even things up. Ron is shot and wounded in the attack and, as he's taken to the hospital, he refuses to support Malory's criminal lifestyle.

With Krieger operating an online pharmacy to distribute the cocaine to buyers, the gang has the free time to throw a neglected Lana a baby shower. Archer takes Pam along for backup on a trip to the Tuntmore Hotel to secure a very special shower gift: a performance by Kenny Loggins.

Without Malory's knowledge or permission, Archer takes some of the cocaine to South America, dragging Cyril and Ray along. Archer plans to simply ask around to find a drug lord named La Madrina and give her the cocaine as a sample for more. He ends up in bed with La Madrina only to discover that she's an undercover police officer who sends the trio to jail without backup.

Archer avoids crash landing in a dangerous swamp only to come face-to-face with a shady arms dealer. They manage to escape back to New York with a slate of illegal arms meant to be sent to a Central American country in civil war and Malory decides to sell the arms for money after discovering Krieger wasted the last of the cocaine on a failed submarine experiment.

"Christmas Snow" is the tenth and final episode of the twenty-third season of the American animated television series South Park. The 307th episode overall of the series, it premiered on Comedy Central in the United States on December 11, 2019.

Santa Claus warns people about driving drunk during Christmas, and encourages everyone to enjoy the holiday responsibly. His advice is promptly ignored as the residents of South Park dangerously drive around the city while impaired. The next day, they discover alcohol sales are banned until January 2, upsetting the townspeople since they must endure their families while sober. Without alcohol to drink, the streets are empty and Mayor McDaniels feels South Park has lost its Christmas spirit. She asks Randy Marsh (who has now grown a white beard) to resume selling marijuana to the citizens, despite the marijuana season being over. Randy and Towelie try to think of something new rather than repackaging old products. The falling snow inspires Randy to create "Christmas Snow": marijuana laced with a white substance. The people love it and resume driving under the influence.

The Mayor is shocked to find that Christmas Snow contains cocaine. Surprised, Randy quickly launches a protest and easily gets cocaine legalized in several states. Santa is upset that people continue to drive under the influence, now due to drugs, and marijuana sales are subsequently banned until after the holidays. Randy decides to sell pure "organic, local" cocaine, without the marijuana "impurities". It proves popular and people continue to drive impaired.

On Christmas Eve, Santa steals all the Christmas Snow from people's houses. People begin to panic as they wake up to discover their drugs are missing. Determined to save Christmas Snow, Randy chases Santa until he crashes his sleigh, and argues over the benefits of cocaine. Santa tries the drug and is impressed with the quality. Jesus arrives to settle the dispute, is convinced to try the cocaine, and is similarly won over. In order to return the Christmas Snow to South Park, Jesus levitates it into the air, causing it to snow cocaine over South Park. Everyone celebrates by consuming the drug and returning to driving under the influence.

Dani Di Placido of Forbes thought that the Tegridy Farms joke "has grown as stale as a wilted marijuana plant." He also criticized the legalization of cocaine in the episode, saying, "It's a bit of a strange joke; what's so funny about legalizing drugs? This concept simply isn't countercultural anymore, not in the slightest."[4]

Vienna, 7 September 2021 - With well-defined locations of production in South America, and large consumer markets in both the Americas and Europe, the cocaine market and the global trafficking routes present a real transnational threat. Recent estimates suggest that in Western and Central Europe alone, some 4.4 million people used cocaine in the past year, making it the second most popular drug in the region after cannabis.

We report a 25 year-old patient with seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and cocaine abuse who experienced cyclical fluctuations in cocaine craving which were concomitant with seasonal alterations in mood. The temporal association of both disorders in this patient suggests that they may share a common underlying pathophysiology. Since disturbances in circadian rhythms and pineal melatonin functions may in part underlie the pathophysiology of SAD and the psychomimetic effects of cocaine are mediated in part through the pineal gland, we propose that dysfunction of circadian rhythms and pineal melatonin functions may partly mediate the association of SAD with cocaine abuse. This hypothesis may have potential clinical and therapeutic implications for a subgroup of cocaine abusers with SAD since light therapy, which is efficacious in the therapy of SAD, may also prove to be beneficial in reducing cocaine addiction. Furthermore, the report illustrates the need for investigations of environmental cues for cocaine abuse with specific attention given to the effects of light on circadian mood changes.

One-third of the 2,400 player urine samples collected each year are screened more closely for drugs of abuse, such as cocaine. Those more comprehensive tests have shown cocaine use by NHL players is on the rise.

Last offseason, New York Rangers forward Jarret Stoll was arrested in Las Vegas under suspicion of drug possession. He was charged with cocaine possession, and pled guilty to misdemeanors. Stoll was then still a member of the Los Angeles Kings, an organization that has since brought in former NBA player Chris Herren to talk to its players about the dangers of substance abuse.

He was part of four world championship teams, settling into a complementary role with the Yankees after starring for the Mets for eight seasons. Assorted injuries, drinking and a cocaine addiction sabotaged the 6-foot-6, 215-pound Strawberry in his prime. Over his final eight seasons, he averaged only 42 games and finished with a .259 lifetime average.

An eight-time All-Star, Strawberry also drew the wrath of teammates and fans for what was perceived as a lackadaisical attitude. Davey Johnson, his Mets manager for seven seasons, said Strawberry was comfortable hitting 30 homers a season and stealing 30 bases, even when he could have accomplished more. "He had the swing, the grace, the power," Johnson said. "When he wanted to be, he was as good as it gets."

L.A. got to see Strawberry at his best for only one season -- when he hit 28 homers in '91.Before high school, Strawberry's prodigious homers made him a local playground legend. At Crenshaw High, in one of the city's toughest neighborhoods, Strawberry channeled his energy into basketball and baseball. He made the varsity baseball team as a sophomore, but after his coach disciplined him for an incident in which Strawberry didn't hustle, he quit the team and wasn't allowed to return until the next season.

The Mets rolled to 108 victories in 1986, with Strawberry hitting 27 homers and knocking in 93 runs. Though he batted only .217 in the postseason, he hit two homers and had five RBI in the NLCS victory over Houston and homered in the Game 7 win over Boston in the World Series. be457b7860
