The PhD Discussion Group
The PhD Discussion Group serves the purpose to facilitate the exchange among PhD students in the Calculus of Variations from Vienna, to offer an informal and relaxed atmosphere to talk about our current research and related topics, and to jointly expand our knowledge in regard to overarching important mathematical results. It is decoupled from any official event.
Accordingly, everyone is invited to either share research results, discuss topics that arouse their interest or present influential results of books or papers.
We are Leon Happ and Samuele Riccò, currently PhD students at TU Wien in the group Multiscale Calculus of Variations led by Elisa Davoli.
