Glasgow PG Seminar
About
The PG Seminar is an informal series of talks given by PhD mathematics and statistics students at the University of Glasgow. Our goal is to give students the opportunity to practice presenting their work in a more casual setting, while also exposing students to a variety of areas of mathematics outside of their usual focus.
Each weekly talk is given by a student on a topic of their choice, either related to their research or not! If you are interested in giving a talk at some point please contact the organisers.
This is "widely" known within the Glasgow student community to be the social event of the week (after the weekly TCA meeting), as each seminar is ritually followed by a pub trip, often chosen by the speaker that week.
