Excellent evening at the regular meeting of The Lodge of Erskine No 1566 on Thursday 11th Dec. The meeting was themed as Men’s Health Awareness .

An attendance of 50 including a good number of visitors heard the Prostate awareness talk delivered by Bro John Malcolm PM and Bro Brian McFadyen PM and the Mental Health input by Renfrewshire East Mental Health first aider Bro Alan Graham PM.

Both talks were well received and much constructive discussion took place.

The Brethren openly discussed their prostate journey but not so open about mental health. The Renfrew’s East “business card” proved a popular pick up. The card has QR code for mental health on one side and a QR code for Prostate Scotland on the other.

The lodge donated £100 to Prostate Scotland and £100 to Renfrewshire East for their work on mental health.

A perfect example of one craft no boundaries, one Masonic family.
